I am totally enthusiastic about this.
This guy is everything we want and need. He is tactically astute; we know that first hand - they controlled the game at Anfield and beat us at their place.
He insists on possession. INSISTS on it. "If they don't have the ball, they can't score."
He is intelligent and articulate - see any of his interviews on youtube for examples.
He studied in Spain and Holland and speaks fluent Spanish - that alone is worth a thousand bonus points in today's football world.
OK he isn't Rafa but it's a fresh start for us with an entire new structure.
I can't wait for for next season.
I'm not gonna comment.
I've got a litre of scotch and I'm just going to switch off my computer and go and sit in a darkened room with it for a little bit.
I love it when idiots say this stuff about whoever they're trying to have a go at. The implication being that alternative manager X is perfect and wouldn't have made any mistakes whatsoever. We all know that is bollox and that every single manager has and will make mistakes.
I don't think it's as simple as that.
There is an element of PR here - for instance, have you seen the City website? Lots of free video and stuff. You might find that it is actually cheaper than Sky who are in it purely and simply for profit.
Quality stuff today from F365 - see also Jon Nic's post.
An antidote to the London-centric Harry-cock-suckers that masquerade as journalists these days.
Great post.
I think you've caught the impotent frustration, bordering on rage, that a lot (most) of us are feeling about this issue.
It IS long and yet really it's only a preamble to a deconstruction of that F.A. report.
TBH I wouldn't expect anything other than skewed and snide misrepresentation from the UK media - including the so-called "quality" press. I haven't bought a newspaper for 15 years
No it's not bullshit. It is actually slander and if taken to court, the burden of proof is with the defendant (Evra) to prove his accusations are truthful.
