    exactly, mate... went to a a youth cup game at maine road a good few years ago, had a pint in a plastic glass and took it up to the stand, a steward said i couldn't take it with me...luckily he realised i was gonna nut him, and said to keep it under my seat.. but there was only about 2000 there. silly rules.... ps... on a lighter , selfish note, i hope, light-heartedly that our game gets called off cos have got to go to my grandsons wedding in congleton,cheshire... 2pm do... in a big old barn place, no chance of seeing the game ... SHIT.....

    but at the end of the day/season, winning the fa cup gets you into the europa cup... same as the carling cup!!! no real difference anymore... basically the same for the cl .. whether we finish 4th or top we still get into the cl. would love to be top but we proved in 2005 its not the same as it used to be, in fact the old eufa cup was not far short of what is now the cl.

    quite right, old toilet had acres of space around it..our ground, like most clubs from the late19th century was built in built up areas..check every ground in lancashire, all surrounded by terraced houses.. we must build a NEW GROUND ..lets face it... its still in bloody anfield... and at least i will be able to say I played footy on the same ground as famous, champion winning liverpool legends...i hope!!!!!
