Fuck off, a couple of points for you. I'm not a Tory supporter although I've voted for them before and I'm certainly not defending them. My comments about who use food banks are based on me having worked in one and doing deliveries for the past 4 years. I am not playing down the need for foodbanks and my comment about fridges was to point out that many people live hand to mouth and it only takes 1, often small, unexpected event to blow their budget. Fuck off with your snide shit, I've got nothing to feel ashamed about.

From my experience, the majority of foodbank users are people with mental health issues and addictions, and to a lesser extent, people needing something tiding them over, such as needing a new fridge etc. Now, want to do something about addictions and mental health? Thats a different debate. Compulsory help is my solution.

This is where we differ. They are brilliant, no-one could ever create a society where they are not needed. Anyone trying to be elected that says they will end the need for foodbanks, without meaning to, is lying or deluded.

I've never had mental health issues and I'll be fucked if I want them. I've been thinking of vitamin tablets but, no offence, your suggestion of 1 one day and 1 every other day too complicated and doesn't compute with my lazy arsed brain. I agree. It could also be the case with the 90 year old woman above getting the bus to a foodbank, its not necessarily the full story.
