Tbh i'd be checking your cables and first before worrying about buying anything, if everything seems to be connected correctly. Then think of checking boot order again, better to double check, other than that it could be A: failed HDD B: corrupt boot sector C: Failing MOBO D: failing/faulty PSU To rule out C + D is there another PC you can hook your HDD to for testing ? Personally, i'd just slap a new HDD in it and do a clean install, then recover your files from there. If your local ish to Wigan, i'd be more than happy to sort it for ya, I do it for a living anyway... But I won't charge you.

Yeah you have to send the "faulty" one back, but atleast you get a brand new phone for the last 12 months of your contract :) You won't regret getting one, tbh it makes the HTC desire etc look kind of basic.

TBH, the main thing to be aware of is failing BluRay drives and YLOD's, BR's are simple to fix and it will cost you about 40quid and 30 mins work, so buy a cheap PS3 with a knackered drive of Ebay for 40-50 quid fix the drive (40 quid) by a HDMI lead off ebay 5 quid, and a genuine controller 30 quid. Total 125 quid and 30 mins work as for the HDD buy any 2.5 laptop SATA HDD of any size format as FAT32 and fit it to PS3 and you got a really cheap 500Gb PS3 ;) If you need someone to fit the Laser to the drive let me know and I can arrange for you to call here and ill do it free and your HDD, just buy the bits and i'll sort it for ya.

Get yourself a Galaxy S2, I just bought one and they are second to none. They shit all over the Iphone 4 and have an 8Mp camera to boot, the cam will also record in 720p HD. Expect to pay £490 for the handset or £29-40 on a contract dependant on your minutes and text requirements. The gingerbread Android OS is by far the best so far, countless free apps to keep you going. The S2 is easily the most responsive smart phone on the market atm, more than worth either buying or contracting.
