1. Repressed this, then? I almost had. Edit: It wasn't actually a bad team aside from fucking Itandje.
2. Well he's a centre forward, you know. And there's no way he would want to play up front for either of these teams. There was never any danger of that, Steve, you fucking yard dog prick.
3. Listening to the commentary on the radio. Steve Claridge is such a fucking cunt. If he'd had the career of Zidane or Maradona I could maybe abide his misinformed shite a touch more. But no, he was Steve Claridge. Just needed to get that off my chest.
4. That was the only pass that Song completed in the Dortmund final third last night.
5. Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid First time I've seen it, very enjoyable with some great lines. Newman and Redford bounce off each other well. 8.5/10.

Dexter

Season 6 has very pleasantly surprised me so far. I thought after the fifth season it might have run its course and it had nowhere left to go beyond 'Dexter tries to kill bad guy while avoiding being caught' throughout every season, and although the sixth isn't really much of a departure, the introduction of the religion theme has at least kept it quite fresh. I was worried it was just Lithgow preventing it from having three underwhelming seasons in a row, but it seems to be back on form now.
7. Legs: Johnny Tightlips, where'd they hit ya? Johnny Tightlips: I ain't sayin' nothin'. Legs: But what'll I tell the doctor? Johnny Tightlips: Tell him to suck a lemon.
8. The best video I can find of it...
9. There's a goal I remember from Steven Gerrard in the World Club Championships in 2005/06 which I don't think I've ever seen since. Having done some quick research on Liverweb, it was against Saprissa in a 3-0 victory, I seem to remember the match being shown on BBC2 over here at about 11 am. It's probably nothing like I recall, but I'm sure it dropped from quite high about 20 yards out and went in off the base of the post. Anybody remember this/find a video?
10. My family are from Liverpool but I was born in Cornwall and have spent all of my life in Newquay except for 3 years at uni in London. I'll pre-empt the inbred jibes by agreeing, other than Newquay and Truro pretty much everywhere else is. I've recently conceded that, being in my 20s, I need to move away because there's fuck all to do for work here unless you want to work in a surfing clothes shop. Which is a shame, because I live about 200 yards from this: ...and I'm loathe to swap it for a load of grey high rises. The beauty of the place seems to drain all motivation and ambition from people, however. I have some very clever mates who are content to work at Morrisons for the rest of their lives because they can play football and get pissed at little cost. I loved growing up here and I know I'd return when I'm older to settle down, but I think your prime years are wasted spent here.
11. My favourite soul singer.
12. I think the commentator in the Madrid game said that Ronaldo had now scored 73 goals in 68 league games. That's ridiculous, and he isn't even the best player in his league.
13. Nope. After missing the August 2010 friendly due to suspension, he returned to the team in September playing the entire match in 2–0 wins over both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Romania. Diarra served as captain in both matches. On 9 February 2011, he captained the team for the fifth time in his career in their 1–0 victory over Brazil. Though, Blanc has yet to declare a permanent captain, Diarra has been declared the favorite to land the armband by several French news publications. Alou Diarra
14. Alou Diarra currently captains France. Strange that he never made one appearance.
15. I'd definitely say Leonardo Da Vinci. An actual genius. Brilliant at everything and probably wasn't a knob either.
16. Winter's Bone A young girl goes in search of her drug-dealing father in her Missouri mountain community. It was good, nicely shot and the lowest grossing film to get a Best Picture nomination for 27 years. Reminded me a bit of Brick in terms of its style, and I loved that. Good performance from Jennifer Lawrence, too. 8.1/10 I was going to give it 8, but the .1 makes it look like I've given it more thought.
17. According to my Flickchart, my favourite films are Dead Man's Shoes, Blue Velvet, Taxi Driver, Glengarry Glen Ross and Chinatown. I'm an upbeat fella.
