  1. All true, well I hope the Premier League remember City's tactics if they're actually found guilty. Given that they've allegedly cheated themselves to the best part of a decades worth of silverware I'd hope for expulsion from the Premiership not relegation and the removal of all their trophies. Obviously it'll be a fine described at the time as 'hefty' which is City will pay and barely notice.
  2. It's just how naff and ostentatious it all is.
  3. They're in the endgame. This is all to placate the over 65's who grew up in the 1950's and still believe they're living in Britain circa 1953. It's from the same place Brexit spawned from. Younger age groups won't put up with all this nonsense when they're middle aged. Demographic's will ultimately take care of the royal family and tory party hopefully.
  4. It is, it's as if the sealed knot have been given a huge budget and told to re-enact on a level not seen before.
  5. Surely it's not happening? Getting ahead of myself but if Forest win today and Leicester do the business on Monday that will surely be too much of a gap particularly with their remaining games?
  6. Irrespective of who is playing it's quite embarrassing to see that many empty seats. I can't see that the FA are making that much more staging a semi-final at Wembley rather than say Villa Park? The cost of staging it at Wembley will be more. Atmosphere would be better if it was elsewhere. Given that it's City they'd only need a stadium with a 15,000 seat capacity to fill their section.
  7. And a Dutch accent. That's the conclusion I've reached. Ole finished 2nd the season before he departed where us and Chelsea were below par. They were convinced then that they were on the way back. You can argue that us, Chelsea and Spurs have been shite, in Spurs case only slightly less shite, in which case the mancs would be in their customary 6th spot. Never the less it's still embarrassing that we're so far behind them.
  8. It's not going to happen. They'll survive by the skin of their teeth again. We just need a couple of barely competent promoted teams to come up next season so they'll have nowhere to hide.
  9. Forest really are hopeless and yet Lingard isn't good enough to start a game for them. 0-2. Who'd have thought spending £160 million plus on 23 players isn't an effective strategy for staying up?
  10. They're not absolutely terrible owners, we've already experienced those. They are however self-serving and manipulative only interested in driving up the value of their prize asset without investing in it directly. They're not appropriate owners for an elite European club with ambitions of competing. They've struck lucky with Klopp who has been able to bridge the gap until this season. They've spent the last two transfer windows happily floating the idea that we're not in the market for a midfielder as they'll only pursue the very best. Bellingham's market value has been known for a couple of seasons. Did anyone expect him to go for less than £100 million? Our apparent offer of £84 million is really just to be seen to try and bring him before moving on to more affordable targets. Haven't they also let the world know what our ballpark transfer budget is this summer?
  11. Have we taken Brendan Rodgers on in a consultancy role this week?
  12. Nope Pickford ruined him, noticeably slower now with a turning circle Maguire would be proud of.
  13. He'll be a Notts Forest player within 12 months.
  14. Rodger's hasn't done that badly, it's Leicester after all. A couple of 5th place finishes and an FA Cup in four years doesn't seem like a bad return. The club and owners well reported financial issues haven't helped this season. He seems to have a shelf life at a club of 2-3 years before the players tune him out, probably because of the nonsense he comes out with.
  15. They've already said that we're going to spend 'responsibly'. We know what that means. Spending will be 'limited' due to the lack of champions league. It'll be a net sales summer spend. They've no interest at the moment. A bad season or two won't affect the asset value of the club which is all they're interested in.
  16. Me neither, wouldn't surprise me if it ended up with both sides being happy he moved on. He'll still have considerable value I assume? How would he do being played as a wingback in Spain?
  17. That's what pisses me off about him, when he's out of position as he often is routinely after he's lost the ball he just jogs back. He'd be a liability in a midfield three. He just doesn't put in the work rate.
  18. As long as Jermain Jenas or Micah Richards aren't on it'll be a big improvement.
  19. I know, they're really going over the top with this. Van Gal and Maureen both won trophies. Both Maureen and Ole both managed to finish 2nd and turned a corner at the time. Is he a better manager? Probably but he's still in his honeymoon period. Let's see how the manc supporters standby him if all he does is turn them in to a competitive top four side without a title challenge over the next few years?
  20. It'll be £40 million at best plus sales.
  21. I can just about cope with Gomez being shit it's just how fucking dumb he is. He should have been sold to Crystal Palace years ago.
