  1. Scarface - 8.8./10 - Love it. Star Wars: A New Hope - 7.8/10 - Been ages since I've seen the original trilogy. I've got Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back to watch tommorow.
  2. Point Break - 7/10 - A very enjoyable, but silly, action film. The plot is weak, the characters lack depth, and the hinted spiritual message of the film is silly, but the film is all about the action spectacle. The film is packed with well constructed chase scenes, impressive surfing shots, and brilliant helicopter stunts. Well worth a watch for the adrenaline-pumping action. Iron Man - 7.5/10 - Another enjoyable action film, this time with less impressive stunts, but more focus on characters. Downey Jr. kicks ass! The Shining - 8.4/10 - "HEEERE'S JOHNNY" Never did find it particularly scary, but the creepyness and eeriness still remain. I suppose what makes this film so frightening is the fact it is totally possible, and in the circumstances, could happen. Nicholson plays the role to perfection.
  3. I like the look of him, is he a red? Really dominant in the air and strong in the tackle, he's formed a great partnership with Roger Johnson this season. I saw a fair bit of him for Coventry last season, and I was really impressed with him then. How much did he cost Birmingham in the summer? Much more than we paid for Kyrgiakos?
  4. I wouldn't be totally surprised, as it would raise funds to buy quality in another position, but selling Skrtel and replacing him with Wilson would leave us desperately short at centre back. We would have Kyriakos who is ideally just a squad player, an ageing Carragher, injury prone Agger, and this Wilson, who is a great prospect, but hardly ready for the premier league. I think we need to sell Agger or Skrtel (I prefer Agger as a player, but his injury record is a problem, so whoever would raise the most funds) and bring in a dominat centre half with the money. I like the look of this Wilson kid, but I wouldn't want him to be forced into the first-team squad prematurely, and have to deal with the pressure so soon - I don't think he's ready. I think signing him and letting him stay at rangers on loan for another year is a good idea, I'd rather let him progress there playing week in-week out than have him stuck playing once every few weeks in the reserve league here. Then hopefully after another year playing regularly in the SPL he would be ready to take over from the Greek as our 4th choice CB. I could see him being a first choice in a few years if we get him. As mentioned before, the problem is; with our limited funds and key areas which need strengthening, we might not be able to afford spending 3 million on a player who probably won't go into our first team squad next season.
  5. Same for me. I was going to vote for Johnson in 3rd because he atacked well in the last 10 minutes, but then I remembered the abysmal defending for the Birmingham goal. Gerrard was fairly poor in the second half, and not brilliant in the second half either, but almost everything good came through him; he took his goal very well, and created a few chances which should have been taken. Maxi was by far our best player in the first half, he was very tidy and looked like the only player who was going to create something. He faded in the second half, but he was still OK. Bad miss towards the end of the game. Babel didn't do a lot, but he added pace and energy when he came on. The rest, shite.
  6. Blue and White would be perfect. It would stand out as much as any other colour, and it has some significance to the club. I don't give a fuck about the bitters wearing blue, we need to do everything possible to get rid of the yanks, and I the kop full of blue and white shirts would gain a lot of publicity. It would start with just the odd few buying them, but once they start getting spotted around the ground the intrest in them will grow and grow, people lap this sort of stuff up.
  7. 26 all in the poll now. I'd rather finish 4th, but it's highly unlikely that will happen now, so I really want to win the Europa League - a trophy is a trophy.
  8. Bump. Going in the summer, can't wait! Don't know much about the place, so any suggestions/tips would be appreciated.
  9. I knew that most would disagree with my opinion on that, and I can see why. I realise why The Godfather is so critically acclaimed, it's a fantastic movie; I don't need to go into why it's so great, because everyone with decent taste in movies already knows. It's thought of by many as one of best, if not the best movie of all time. But I just prefer The Dark Knight, simple as. I love everything about it, the story, the epic action scenes, and it is directed brilliantly. Taking all that into acount it's probably a very solid 8, but the performance of The Joker by Heath Ledger is legendary, and it adds so much to the film. I never tire of watching that performance, and admiring every little detail of it. Two great films - It's just personal preference really.
  10. Had to go to the third page to find this, I've never seen it so low... The Godfather - 9/10 - Still ace, gonna watch the second (my favourite of the trilogy) some time over the next couple of days. The Dark Knight - 9.5/10 - Still even acer. Absolutely brilliant, gets better and better with every viewing.
  11. Anyone got a good stream still? I found a couple of good ones at the begining, but they all got found out quickly, and now I'm struggling.
  12. I'm a fan of WWE, and I'm hoping to watch it tonight. I'm not a big fan anymore (I used to be pretty into it in the late 90's/early 2000's), but I love Wrestlemania, and still watch it every year. Unfortunately my SKY signal is down (bad timing), so I've got my hopes pinned on finding a good stream. Streams for most PPV's are usually quite easy to find, but I know WWE keep a close eye on the sites which advertise streaming of Wrestlemania, so I'm quite worried I won't find a good, watchable stream with no lag, or I any stream at all. Anyway, I'll be looking, and if I find a good one I'll post it on here. I'm looking forward to it; Say what you like about wrestling, but WWE know how to put on a great show, especially at 'Mania.
  13. Into the Wild - 9/10 Loved it, just brilliant.
  14. He just went straight though a bolton player with the ball from behind, took him out completely, and one of the fuckwit commentators comes out with, "He's unlucly there, Scholes".
  15. I'm with Dynamite, I like the ACOG. I just find it much easier to use than the standard and thermal; it's easier to find your target, and it's easier to keep a steady aim. To be fair, that's probably just because I'm shite with the other two. I don't use the ACOG much though, I like to keep in simple. No matter what map or game mode, I almost always use the M16A4 - It's a light machine gun with a three round burst; use it with stopping power and it works a treat. If I prestige I think I'll do things differently to keep it interesting; I might become a specialist sniper. When I get to level 70 I think I'll give Battlefield 2 a try, see how I get on with that, and then maybe go back to MW2 a while after that to prestige and do it all agin.
  16. I had a similar problem a while ago. The virus would sign me into Messenger while I was offline, and it would send messages with links to sites with the virus (that's how I got it). I didn't know about it for ages, then I noticed that when I signed in I was getting a lot of messages saying "what the fuck", and "what is this", then I found out that I had this virus. I just changed my password, and have had no problems since then (I just make sure I don't click on any of those links). I don't know if doing that would help solve your problem, but it could be worth a try.
  17. The clan idea sound great. I would like to give the FFA tournament a go aswell, I haven't been involved in one yet. I haven't got a headset. I was keen on getting one, but then I used one whilst playing, and I found that I didn't much enjoy the luxury of talking, and it seriosuly fucked my game up.
  18. I really, really, like the look of Zombieland.
  19. Burn After Reading - 7.5/10 - I liked it quite a lot. Quirky, Outlandish plot, well acted by a good cast, and I found it pretty funny at times. Michael Clayton - 8.2/10 - An engaging, cool drama that offers some moments of suspence, and asks some difficult moral questions. It's stylishly executed, with a perfect pace and a great cast. Clooney is brilliant. Dead Man Running - 2.5/10 -It was shite. Gets some points for the good chemistry between Danny Dyer and his eastend mate, and some mildly funny scenes. Might have given it a 3 if it wasn't produced by Rio Ferdinand, the prick couldn't resist getting his name mentioned; "Who ya savin that seat for, Wio Ferdinand?", cunt.
  20. Not sure if i've got you on psn byrnie, are you stevieGisgr8? I'm up for it, anyone else?
