    The Bends is awesome, I listened to it a little while ago for the first time in a long time and I'd forgotten just how good it is. I don't think OK Computer has stood the test of time anywhere near as much, for me anyway.

    We only really had Mascherano and Lucas in centre-mid last season, with Spearing and Plessis as back-up. I think even if everybody stayed we would have needed to bring someone in, ideally. I hope Poulson is that back-up, if it is true that he's coming, and not the replacement for Mascherano.

    I like Fabio too, and I'm also glad he's back. That's one of our left-backs sorted, hopefully we can bring somebody else in soon (presuming it's Konchesky, who wouldn't be my first choice, but he 'will do' for now) and then we can concentrate on strengthening other areas if we can.

    It'd be a good loan move for him, he would get regular first team football for a season (probably) and come back a better player. I'm sure if there is a loan move in the offing, then he would have asked Xabi about them and he would have given him some advice, seems natural to me.

    Not a bad performance at all, although they never pressured us at all and were happy enough just to sit and let us play, which was nice of them, all very comfortable. My only concern is that my laptop was starting to overheat during the last 10 minutes, which isn't a good sign.

    When Sky first started out, there used to be an option to turn off the commentary on the box, so you're just left with crowd noise. I wish TV companies would start doing that again.
