  1. Henderson’s always been a weak personality, but post heel injury, he seems to have regressed into a bang average midfielder at best.
  2. At least Gini has put himself about a bit, Moreno has done well too. Henderson his usual shithouse self unfortunately. Any talk of a red for Lukaku is really clutching at straws
  3. None of these suggestions would do well due to the system we set up with. I’m struggling to think of any defender period that would thrive here. It’s a system issue more than anything. Just look at that Sanchez kid at Spurs, he has seamlessly fitted in to how they play. You put him in this team and his arse would be handed to him on a weekly basis.
  4. Bit harsh no? The guy signed to fight both Povetkin and Ortiz, a guy at one point most heavyweights would not go near. It's not his fault they're popping on drug tests all the time. I don't rate the guy that much, but he's been putting himself out there in recent times .
  5. Peter Hitchens the only person talking a mediocum of sense. An alt right nut case in the crowd, with a dose of UKIP bells and some hopeless, blunderbuss chair of the Labour Party to offer "balance". God, the future of this country is grim.
  6. No defender will make things any better in this system. I'm not excusing the likes of Klavan and Lovren who are total shite, but Maguire, Van Dijk will struggle with the feeble protection our so called midfield provides. The grim reality is that for there to be any hope of a half decent league finish, we need to be crashing out of these cup competitions as soon as possible. With group stage matches mid week I can only see things getting worse.
  7. https://twitter.com/BeardedGenius/status/910181700893904896 I'm speechless.
  8. Rio Ferdinand to take up pro boxing at 38, assuming it'll be a one off Flintoff type gig. Otherwise it's madness.
  9. I'm exactly the same, we seem to have a plethora of midfielders, none of which are primarily defensive minded, let alone being actually any good at it. Will Keita solve this problem? I've never seen the guy play so wouldn't know. It's bizarre that it hasn't even been considered through multiple transfer windows now. I dare say we would see a marked improvement in Lovren etc if they had quality cover in front of them.
  10. The line they're peddling is that it's due to an issue regarding the PL wages as a percentage of revenue or something, meaning they can't spend anything. I didn't even think that this was a rule. It's either that or the below, which seems more likely. http://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/news/kroenke-arsenal-transfers-mahrez-chamberlain-12883621
  11. McGregor'a cardio was embarrassingly bad. Like Audley/David Price esc. He could barely stand after 8/9 rounds and had not even shipped that much punishment. I've watched his UFC fights and even I was not expecting that. I don't even think McGregor did that good really, gassed his arse out after 3/4 rounds then plastered for the rest of it.
  12. To me at least, Mcgregor looks too big/thick which might be one of the reasons why he has zero gas tank. It's not as if he's not putting the work in. That and maybe the big weight cuts are catching up with him.
  13. Anyone checked on 9 God, guy must be devastated.
  14. Did I hear correctly about there being a money belt? It's actually embarrassing how cringey this shit is.
  15. Off the top of my head I would say Dany, Stark kids (bar maybe Bran and the other one who Ramsey killed), Tyrion, Cersie, Jaime would be classed as the main characters of the show.
  16. Agree with this, the quality has varied wildly since its overtaken the books. The showrunners are in a difficult spot though. Martin seems intent on putting it off as long as possible. I'm not sure the cunt will ever finish the books off in time given the state of him.
  17. The sky advert makes me cringe everytime, can't wait until it's all over.
  18. To be honest, the more I think about the it, the worse the episode seems. Too much convenient shite like this.
  19. Didn't some Japanese bloke floor Rigo a few fights back? Doubt he has enough to hold off Lomachenko at this stage.
  20. Season 4 for me, remains the last truly great series in this show. The quality of subsequent seasons fluctuates for too much. Although the last episode of season 6 remains my favourite episode of them all.
  21. Not sure about Shane, but he has had very close relationship with Barry for a long time. Framptons had an awful year really considering how good last year was, hasn't kicked on at all. Probably for the best they part ways. Can't see him signing with fast Eddie considering the stick they were giving him through the Quigg fight, but you never know I suppose.
  22. To be fair, It doesn't help that the Windies are way out of their depth in this series, not sure it would be enticing at any time of day really. I reckon it would be better under more competitive circumstances.
  23. Frampton looking set to leave the Mcguigans according to the BBC. Al Haymon the next port of call for him? Not sure what they were pulling at that Gutierrez fight, but it stinks. Must have started to unravel when he didn't get the Santa Cruz rematch.
