I agree with the drop him for Aquilani opinion to be honest. Annoys me watching him look uninterested on the pitch week in week out. If somebody like Lucas strolled about the pitch like Gerrard does there would be a completly different reaction. And to be fair Lucas has played the better football this season. He won't be dropped though sadly. I still stand by selling him in the summer if a good offer comes in. Think a change of captain might do us some good as well.

:yes: ROP is going for the Melbourne Cup now as well. Should have always been the plan. Anyone who wants a little bet today should consider Palypso De Creek in the second race. Won't go into too much detail but he has a very nice profile for this and looks like he has been kept for it all season. 33/1 at the moment with 5 places available.

Maxi Aquilani Torres Coincidence that we play our best football when Kuyt's not around?

He's quite comfortably our best centre back now, not sure why anyone would want rid of him. When Carra' and Skrtel are the centre back pairing there is basically no hope of us building an attack.

You actually want to see Kuyt start as a lone striker. Beyond belief. I'd like to see Paches start but it won't happen, hopefully get longer than last week though. Babel should start on the left as he seemed to actually play well (for the first time ever in life) when he came on last week. Benayoun on the right or behind the striker ideally.

No 'keeper in the world would save that.
