  1. Genuinely interested your thoughts on Werner ?
  2. Single handedly pulled us through our sticky patch has been in great form and consistent all year . However think the 30 years includes Barnes he was something else bit like Ali in his prime beautiful to watch and admire. Sorry may bad best since Barnes he said statement of blindingly obvious give me that pundits job
  3. Pervert Park on BBC 4 last night so assume will be on iplayer Difficult to watch for me a cycle of sympathy (for abuse they suffered) revulsion (at the crimes they did time for) confusion (what do we do with them). Only positive was that the reoffending rate for those resident in trailer park was 1% however considering the crimes they commit it is still 1% too much. However I would guess that this level of reoffending is a lot less than normal ex prison (for same crimes) population.
  4. Last Breath in cinema now then on the BBC in May https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-47826802
  5. Cannot choose 5 Liverpool don't know who to leave out Berbatov Bergkamp Cantona Zola and Tony Yeboah I like my players mercurial
  6. 3 girls in my daughter's class were not given parental consent, shocking.
  7. Another link is what is needed AOT. Contemplated putting BBC link up that you have posted but thought will go with the science and data first. BBC link a good summary.
  8. The findings are dramatic and document a considerable reduction in high grade cervical disease over time. The authors estimate a vaccine effectiveness of 86% (95% confidence interval 75% to 92%) for the most severe outcome of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) grade 3 or worse in women fully vaccinated at ages 12-13 compared with the unvaccinated cohort. Notably, they report a large reduction in CIN grade 3 or worse in the most recent cohort of women compared with the pre-vaccination cohort, whether they were vaccinated or not (from a rate of 0.59% to 0.06%, an 89% decline), suggesting that interruption of HPV transmission in Scotland has created substantial herd protection.
  9. As a father of two daughters an having seen the deterioration and deaths of two female relatives with this cancer very optimistic reading. https://www.bmj.com/content/365/bmj.l1375
  10. Agreed the restricted field really pisses me off. Love Freddy Couples as a player but he should not even be in the field based on world rankings and look how competitive he is in it year after year as the course obviously suits him ? McIlroy will be competitive at Augusta for next 20 years if he wins it once. That's why the open is the ultimate major a truly open field with proper qualifying. Heard yesterday that McDowell even with his win at weekend is not in a position to get into open field yet. Would be heartbreaking but I bet he will be doing everything in his schedule to play in qualifiers as it should be.
  11. Watched it pretty good synopsis. Difficult to watch.
  12. The reality is vaccine programs have been so successful the 20 to 35 year olds producing next generation of children don't know how bad or how dangerous life was for infants especially even at start of 20th century. Are they safe - probably not, can there be reactions -definitely, can there be life long detrimental effects for individuals- possibly, do vaccines work - definitely. Does big pharma make money out of vaccines -yes . Do we as a society want infants dying from preventable diseases-no. There is risk reward in nearly every decision we make. On vaccines the rewards so outweigh the risks it is a sad reflection of what is out there that we are even having this discussion.
  13. Yip a bit . Two new holes serious upgrade on old 17 and 18 that are now defunct. Great course as it is very fair if the weather for open is good pros will tear it apart if the wind blows and you are off your game the course will eat them up. Think viewers and spectators will be stunned as to the natural look and beauty with a mixture of birdie opportunities and real difficult holes were par actually a good score. As for playing you need to be pretty consistent golfer to cough up 175 to 200 quid a round . Would not want to be paying that and having a nightmare. Would suggest playing Rathmore (sister course right beside main course) first get your eye in before tackling big course. It is a cracker at very good value for money.
  14. Steel for grandstand at 18th Portrush being delivered today. Well on with some amenities also.
  15. At endgame of one of the biggest constitutional crises the country /union has ever faced there is always one hero who exudes clarity of thought.
  16. Know your comment slightly tongue in cheek fully understand considering Becker's performance yesterday. However his howlers kinda strange for me as I fully expect him to recover from them. Instead of insane hair pulling on my part sort of say wtf is going on and laugh at it and in a way I think that is his strength also. Make a mistake put it out of your mind onwards to next mistake or world class save. The likes of James , westerveld, Marius and mings got troubled by their mistakes and spiralled towards goal keeping oblivion .
  17. I think this is pivotal in us winning league. They have blown pile money on stadium will have to back a manager with purchases top 4 is their priority. As you say beat them drag them into a top 4 dogfight they are capable of beating city. Unfortunately they are capable of getting result against us this must be a no fear all out win at all costs for ourselves. Means so much more than the three points at stake.
  18. In a heartbeat . Say we going to lose 30 m in appearance add one factor that in . Would go as far as 80m and same wages as whatever we have to blow on VVD to keep him here when contract renewal starts
  19. Messing about on spotify check out Beth Hart and her version of I would rather go blind with Jeff Beck or Joe Bonamasssa thought to myself shit she can sing. Had not heard of her up until then
  20. Shudders did you really have to post that. Nightmare stuff.
  21. Get that analysis. I suppose what I am mulling over is I don't see what klopp's plan b is when one/all of front three are struggling to break a team down. It seems to be a random choice of throw origi/sturridge on. Personally I feel firminio cannot be sacrificed even if he is the one struggling as he has the vision and talent to make something happen. What I don't see is him ghosting/running into box a la Fowler. Anyway maybe mute point as we don't have players to change system to allow him to play like that. Have a nagging feeling we are probably making the most use of certain attributes and abilities he has but not the most use of his talent.
  22. Just wondering if played in a different system with a different role could he be as prolific as Robbie ?
  23. Loved all the commentary on sky suggesting 3 wood or long iron up 18 as camera followed Rory onto tee box. Bag down glove on reaches for the big dog no discussion with caddy. Glad it worked out for him as Rahm getting all sorts for the decision he made at 11. So hoping Rory wins the Masters but going out now and having ew on Jason Day and Justin Rose would say Rory hard to back.
  24. Substitute Finnan for Trent then no argument
  25. Couple Brendan's defensive tactical nous with Maguire who currently stands around the D with his hands out in a wtf pose (with a gobshite look on his face) and I come up with less optimism than yourself. Fairly sure we will not have to laud him.
