  1. Haha, that's exactly what I've had at the office today as well (from a manc, no less). Maybe that bitter cunt Holtby and Dawson were close to tears at the end just for show and to make avb feel really bad. Maybe avb himself shook his head knowing he was on tele so that to make Levy loosen up the purse strings in January and get more players?
  2. Was going to post the same. Perfect timing, though Negredo and Dzeko are more than capable to cause considerable damage, not to mention Yaya.
  3. I don't think they will. If anything, I think they'll adopt the same tactics as Pochetino's team did when they came to Anfield and turn the table on us, with pressing from our third (we've had a few dodgy moments yesterday on that front where Sakho/Skrtle went asleep). Even if they do park the bus, that may have been an effective tactics in the past, now it will be completely futile as in Suarez we have a guy who can do something out of nothing and has the supporting cast around him in Coutinho, Hendo, Allen and even Sterling where we can do a lot of damage. The only worry I have for that game (apart from complacency) is our defence lapses - make one silly mistake, they can easily pounce and before you know it we are 1-0 down. We need to do what we did yesterday - have them on the rack from the off with no letting go for the full 90 minutes.
  4. Well, that's how the morning after the night before looks like in the PL. Considering that in my most optimistic of predictions I thought we could get a high-scoring draw (probably coming from behind) and give performance to be proud of, I am glad I got it wrong for the first part. To say that we simply won that game would be doing the team a great injustice. We absolutely mullered these! Lets remind ourselves that this was the ground where: * we've had 2 men sent off (and lost); * then there was another loss, despite absolutely controlling the entire game; * then there was one game where that thick cunt Down wore a Spurs shirt underneath and gave his team everything, despite regular assaults from the Spurs defenders (we lost that game too); * then there was this game we've had in a rainy night when 'Arry made his first appearance as Spurs manager and they beat us with that Ruskie wanker Pavliychenko scoring twice, despite Spurs being relegation fodder up to that point; In fact, we haven't won at that ground for quite a while for one reason or another, so to come here and make Spurs look distinctly like a pub team (and that would be kind to the team playing in lillywhites), to the point when they were scared shitless to cross into our own half after the 4th went in to prevent further humiliation and embarrassment (that didn't prevent Sterling from scoring, of course) speaks volumes. Ladies and gents, step back and read this: Spurs 0 - The Mighty Redmen 5... at "The Lane"... where we haven't won for ages... with our captain out injured... with Sturridge also injured... with playing 2 youngsters in Flano and Sterling... where we didn't let their team have a sniff for the entire game (not a single shot on target), given that they spent 100 million in the last transfer window. What I was mostly pleased about that game, apart from the unexpected result, was our application. The entire team - from the first to the last - were simply immense. No other way of describing this really. We played with absolute determination, as if our lives depended on it. I don't really know what Rodgers told the players before the game (and according to Stevie, he did talk to them at length), but whatever was said, it helped motivate the team. They all did themselves proud yesterday. They played with this "fuck you" attitude during the entire game and I found myself rubbing my eyes thinking "fucking hell, is this real?", expecting to wake up any minute. Hendo gets a special mention though - his performance yesterday was, simply put, imperious! He very much reminded me of Stevie in his early years. Sterling, Allen and, of course, Suarez were simply exceptional. I am pleased for the 2 youngsters as they deserved it after the hard work and effort they put in, Flano in particular, who I feared would have a nightmare against Lennon & co - as it turned out, it was the other way around. Sterling too - well done to the lad and my god, he needed that goal too. In fact the entire team were very good yesterday. Rodgers said that this was the most complete game since his time here, and I tend agree. The question from here on is this: can we keep this up? In the past, we've been inconsistent and after a game like this, usually by playing a "lesser" team at Anfield, we have the uncanny ability to fuck things up and get a draw or even lose, so the litmus test before that game at Citeh would be how well will we play and, most importantly, can we get 3 points when Cardiff come to town, or would it be another disappointing result for us? As Stevie said yesterday - win that game and we are top of the league! He is right.
  5. Haha, very good! Brownie points to those who manage to spot Daniel Agger within 1 minute after looking at that picture.
  6. Spot the odd one out! Everyone's all smiles, except Sakho, who's stare makes your piss freeze. He looks at you as if you are banging his missus up the arse with her hands tied, screaming, Pulp Fiction style.
  7. The Sci-fi future ain't here until I get me one of these: I can think of a half-a-dozen uses, but 2 immediately jump to my mind: 1. Promise to accompany the missus when she goes shopping (to shut her up), then when the time comes "flash her" and get to watch a certain game of sport on the telly with a cold beer, or two. 2. Bang <insert name of a beauty with a sizeable rack and massive nips here> senseless, then "flash her". Repeat ad-infinitum.

  9. Yep. I'd love it if Sami's team play a big part in knocking the macs out of the competition. I've mentioned this before, but their qualification is by no means assured. I don't want them to drop out completely though - Thursday nights playing in the Europa League will do, thanks.
  10. It appears so. I thought that norge no-mark was banned for 30 days.
  11. First club to have blue poppy wreaths laid on Remembrance Day.
  12. First club in der world to qualify for the lucrative Champions League tournament, but not actually play in it.
  13. The injury-time goal for Cardiff (hurry up before the cunts block it): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgNqTlo3UNE
  14. Nowt wrong with that at all. If you can't enjoy the mancs throwing games (and points) in injury time, as opposed to winning them you are one miserable get. Precisely! More pressure heaped on Gollum today, the out-of-his-depth incompetent prick.
  15. Fucking KARMA! Well deserved too. The next 3 games for teams around us (mancs excepted): Us: Hull (A) Norwich (H) West Ham (H) The arse: Cardiff (A) (ahem!) Hull (H) Everton (A) Citeh: Swansea (H) West Brom (A) Southampton (A) Chelsea: Southampton (H) Sunderland (A) Stoke (A) The mancs: Spurs (A) Everton (H) Newcastle (H) We have a relatively easy run and we should get the maximum points from these. The mancs have the most difficult fixtures and I can't see then getting more than us.
  16. I take it you've never met my gran then? As for that twat Mirallas - he looks argie to me, but no matter - a twat's a twat and he should've walked today.
  17. Zig, if your VPN is properly configured (and I also use tor like you as well), there is next-to-no chance of your ISP (whether VM, BT or any other) throttling-down your p2p traffic. None! The "traffic management" you refer to is solely on the basis of the amount of traffic as a whole, which passes through the router you have with them. That, as NV already mentioned, is usually time-constrained. In other words, certain amount of traffic restrictions are applied during "busy" hours. If you exceed that amount of traffic, the "penalty" is applied and your speed is greatly reduced for a number of hours, but that is for all traffic, not just p2p. If you use VPN, the whole traffic usually passes through to your VPN provider via either a "well-known" port (80, 443 for example) or the "vpn" port (1194). In the former case, these ports are usually designated for web traffic (loading web pages), so your ISP have absolutely no idea that p2p traffic passes through that set of ports, unless they sit on your router and do traffic analysis (highly unlikely!). In the latter case, in theory it is possible to throttle-down "vpn traffic" on the basis that it goes though your "vpn" port, but, again, your ISP has no way of knowing what kind of traffic passes through it as this traffic is fully encrypted. If vpn is not used, then there are also ways to avoid such throttling - just define some high-numbered random ports (say 40000-50000) to dedicate for p2p traffic and change these numbers frequently with each session and your ISP won't be able to throttle-down such traffic. Another solution is to use what I've done here - I change my connection ports frequently (reconnect to my VPN every 6 hours) as my VPN provider allows me to connect on any port, not just the ones I've mentioned above, so my ISP is only able to do "traffic management" on my traffic as a whole, nothing else.
  18. Indeed. As one great man once said - there are just 2 teams in Liverpool: "Liverpool" and "Liverpool reserves".
  19. Bitter-sweet result this (pun intended). One one hand we would have won that game today - comfortably - if either of Suarez or Allen converted at least one of their chances (it was a bad miss by Allen - my 90+ year old granny would've buried that). On the other hand, we need to thank our lucky stars for having Mignolet keeping us in the game - he made some absolutely superb saves today. If it wasn't for him, it could've been very embarrassing for us. And don't start me on that prick Mirallas. I've just seen the replays and the argie wanker meant it when he went through Suarez. Dowd though, being the twat that he is, gives him just a yellow, the tit. He bottled it, pure and simple. Rodgers should write to that manc cunt Riley asking for an apology. We stay second no matter what happens, but it could've been better. Onwards and upwards.
  20. What happened to your membership - did you get sacked by British Gas?
  21. Amen to that! What we achieved as a team on that night - to come back from 3 goals down and beat the Italian Champions (who, lets not forget, had won the CL themselves not long before) and to do it with the players we've had - will never be repeated by any team in my lifetime, I am sure of that. God was a red on that night, no doubt about it. Nope, getting to UEFA final with Roy fucking Hodgson is better, me thinks.
  22. I seem to remember someone wrote at the time that when Kenny left Melwood after having chat with Torres his face looked like thunder, so I won't be at all surprised if he told him to fuck right off, the has-been wanker. Good man is Kenny!
  23. I see this and raise you to (notice Carra and Agger moves!)... http://youtu.be/4XjPy8FxCzE As far as Flano goes, I don't think he's better than Cissokho, but I'd rather play him in this game than move Johno to the left or shift Agger there. I am fairly confident we can get a result tomorrow - the bitters are due a proper beating and tomorrow is as good a day as any.
