That sounds amazing, glad so many cool things happened for you on the day. I've not been before either but am hoping to get over there for the Stoke match, and I'm sure that when I first get into the stands it'll be just as awesome as it was for you. The only problem is that sept 20th seems like an age away, especially when I might be looking forward to that.

Yeah I'll be over from Hull too if there's anything going on. I joined the SOS but haven't recieved anything from them yet so I'm still in the dark a bit with all that stuff. But then who would we have been able to rely on upfront if anything happened to Torres? At least if Keane turns out good we don't have that hanging over our headsas much. Maybe you're right and we did spend too much there, but at least we can feel a bit better about the situation with strikers.

Sounds like the silly twat should find more to do in the middle of the week. I do agree with what he says, but shit, he should really find stuff to do in the week. Fish + Chips + Eastenders? At least if he did that every so often he'd leave the Mancs faster. Or maybe Coronation Shite. There's not enough youth at the club is there? So it just seems like massive amounts of cash being spent for temporary success, instead of investing in a team that the fans and the people at the club can feel confident in for years to come. Look where Blackburn are now for instance. Roman could be at Chelsea for years and years to come though.... Actually, after checking on some of the players ages they do seem like they have a good amount that are around 26 or so, so it's not too bad, but there's no-one at all coming through the youth ranks and actually cementing a place in the side is there? How could they when there's so much cash to spend on whoever they want? If Scolari sorts the youth side out, ok, but if not I can't see them lasting. Blackburn MKII, but lasting a few years longer.

I think it's gonna be more like : ----------Masch--------Lucas------- --Gerrard--------Keane---------Albert Fowler-- -----------------Torres-------------- ...because if Xabi isn't consistent I think Lucas will actually start to push him out. If he plays well though then he'll start ahead of Lucas, obviously. Where the fuck does Babel fit in though? LEFT wing? I thought he was good on the right? We have too much in midfield and not enough at the back, so I'd use the midfield to advantage instead. Masch and Lucas, or Masch and Gerrard can track back to help out instead. Also I'd have Lucas with a seriously free role, free to defend, work in midfield, or to attack. If he attacks, have Gerrard fill in for him in the holding midfield position.

I'm concerned that he's slow, but happy that he seems skillful, so he can make up for it. I really hope he doesn't end up on his arse all the time though because the prem is tougher for him. He'll probably take a while to settle, but at somepoint in the next 1-3 months he might end up doing some great stuff for us. I'd love to see us get Barry aswell, but if not get a right winger too, and start using Babel as our striker when Keane or Torres come off the pitch late in games. Babel is really fast, and if he can just get a bit better he could be a great striker, and then we'd have Babel/Keane/Torres doing the stuff upfront.

I agree with one game at a time too. I keep looking onwards to Man Utd though after the Villa game. If we beat them and Villa, yeah ok things could be looking fucking awesome, but to be honest I'm just hoping we don't fuck things up on wednesday night.
