Really pleased with that result. Only comments i'll make are there is going to be a lot of players looking for game time and I'd like to see them getting some more when we have a match won. It would have been nice to see Maxi make an appearance. We created a lot of chances today again but didn't convert a lot. Some day soon we are going to knock seven past someone.

I just took Downing out of my fantasy team. I've had him in since the start. I fully expect him to play a blinder today scoring one and setting up two.

Not sure whether he called him black or blind. Very stupid of him to say it given the furor from last week. On another point and I'm not being funny here but probably alone in my thinking but, Is calling him a black cunt really that racist anyway? Surely the word cunt is the offensive word and is debatable. Is he black, yes, has he classed him into a race, yes but the word cunt is the derogatory term and black is merely describing him. If he had said fat cunt, small cunt, ginger cunt or Irish cunt to someone would this even be mentioned? I can understand people having a go when N#gger is said as it is derogatory but are we now to say black is too? I thought that was ok. I almost applaud Terry for using a few adjectives in sentences to describe his disdain for another person, I wasn't convinced he could communicate with people let alone speak English.

Carroll is fuckin shite, I still back what I said about him when we first signed him (being worth closer to 35p than 35m). Kenny did himself no favours with that last sub (Maxi could have changed it). If Henderson was coming on it should have been for Adam only, otherwise don't bother. We should have won that match (but i am constantly thinking that), our finishing is abysmal. My fuckin stream went dead at the end so i missed the drama at the end. FUCK! I'm so pissed off we dropped points. It's very worrying how the heads drop when we concede and the managements movements to try and get us back into the ascendancy. Bring on the next game. It's just a pity as we were playing so well at times. The players must be gutted.

Who cares about his accent, Look at Sean Connery as someone already mentioned. He is an ok actor and has been in some good films. Dazed and Confused, Tropic Thunder, A time to Kill, I enjoyed The Lincoln Lawyer too. His line in Dazed and Confused "That's what I love about these High School girls man. So when is identifying a person by a place ok........If someone calls me a Paddy is it really that bad? I have no real gripe if someone chooses to call me a Paddy Cunt over an Irish Cunt. Also in this instance if he was called a French cunt would he being going mad? if he was called a black cunt would he be going mad? The word for black in Spanish and Portuguese I think is negro. So he may have been calling him black, which he is. Isn't using the term black an ok term? Why do you need to describe someone from where they are from or what they look like, well we do it with all different types of people, be them from a place or fat, skinny, ginger, small etc, etc. Yes I know the word N#gger is frowned upon (and i wouldn't use it to describe a black person) but Black people do call each other Niggas and a mate i used to have (who was black made us call him Nigga). The point I'm making is that if he said negro ie black in Spanish has that been seen as racist from Evra but not in Suarez's mind? Just a thought.

I find it very hard to be impressed with anything in that video. He missed several chances, ran into players when he had the ball, his holding up the play was poor and his flick ons were to no one most times. He looked slightly faster but still slow. The only thing I can take from that video is that we seem to have bulked him up and he has lost what little pace he had, so maybe we should look into that. It is not down to his fitness level that he is slower but he just looks bigger.

Lucas was very poor today but he has his place in the squad until we get better. Those that say Utd were better at attacking when he went off simply forget that they brought on their attacking players so of course that was going to be the case. He was beaten on many occasions and the central midfield of Henderson, Adam and Gerrard should have been what we started with if we knew the team that Utd were putting out but we didn't. The argument should be whether we need him in the starting 11 for most games and I believe we don't. I also hope that we don't need a DM at all soon and that are CB's of the future don't need that level of protection. The warranting of a place in a team due to others inefficiencies is what we need to eradicate. I have never been a fan of Lucas, just think he is a jack of all trades master of none but he has served us well many times and does not need this level of abuse after one poor game.

Two points lost really but glad we didn't lose. In hindsight we never needed Lucas (was poor today). I thought Henderson did very well when he came on. I thought Enrique was brilliant again. We never take our chances though. Should have brought Bellamy on too IMO.Maybe the future is Gerrard sitting back a bit with Adam and Henderson playing the advanced role. I know a lot of people think he is not disciplined enough but i'm sure he is. -

I teach over in Thailand. Worked in Finance in Ireland and got made redundant and came over here. Been here nearly two years. Not sure when i'll come back but enjoying it over here for the most part. I had a degree (not related to teaching) and got a TEFL. Over here it all depends on how you look more so than your teaching experience. If you are young, white and follow their culture you are fine regardless of your teaching (although a good teacher will get a better job). If you have any questions let me know.

I think it is nice, but I only drink it in certain situations. I don't put the lime in it but do sometimes squeeze a bit in. There are all different rumours as to why the lime is used. I always went with the sanitising the rim of the bottle where it originated as it is acidic and beers are stored in dirty places where rats would be around. Other rumours are repelling flies and marketing moves.

Speaking of ex players ( i know Joe Cole is still on loan but I am sure he won't be back in a Liverpool shirt again) I just noticed that Insua has played 5 games (in all comps) for Sporting and scored 3 goals (looks to be playing a more advanced role). Just got me thinking that it is interesting the way some players don't make it at certain clubs but can at others. I am not saying he has made it there but I can see him becoming successful for both them and Argentina. It just goes to show that players need to play the role they are suited to and given the right environment to excel. I think that managers buying players and playing them out of position can really damage a player in the long run. Not sure what thread to put this in and the search engine on this is never successful for me.

Regardless of what I think about the man, Kenny and Co believed he was worth it. Now they have either changed their mind or they need to back the player and get his head and his fitness up to the required level. This will involve the hand around the shoulder approach and getting him to believe in himself and forget about the price tag. Games like last night are the sort of games where he needs to play. Inferior opposition where he can show what he has got and get his confidence back. I that if anyone can get him to play liek he can for a big club then Kenny is the man but I'm starting to think/worry that maybe Kenny doesn't think it is possible. Maybe his supposed off the field problems and his attitude can not be repaired.Time will tell and I hope he becomes a legend for us and I can eat my humble pie for dessert everyday.

How long does it take to get fit exactly? I know every player differs but this should be looked into. We buy AC and Aquilani for huge sums and then we are expected to wait for ages till we see any end product. I just don't buy this wait till he gets fit bullshit. If it takes so long to get fit then why fuckin buy a player when it takes over 6 months to get properly fit. Why pay wages to someone for so long when they offer nothing. If you are back from injury it should not take long to get fit. I can forgive a player maybe being slow to get his touch etc back but to look so out of shape and lethargic after this amount of time is ridiculous. You are getting paid loads of money so there is no excuse not to look lean, fit and ready for action after a short period of time. The mental side is another matter however.

He can't even win in Skill Skool (I hope this link works). Nah, but seriously I think he'll learn a lot from Gerrard and will become a good CM. He won't be as good as Gerrard is but who is really.
