Just says "remembers the saddest day in the clubs history" so I wasn't sure if it was just recollections from survivors and witnesses etc...

Any one know if this is that the made for TV docu-drama with Christoper Eccleston?

I honestly think Torres has lost that edge that he had. That sharp turn and burst of acceleration over the first 5 yards or so that was so devastating for opposition defenders has deserted him. It cant be loss of form or confidence, as it seems to have gone on too long for it to be either or a combination of both. Maybe his injury (the one we allowed him to have an operation on in time to be fit for the World Cup) was much worse than we think and he has actually lost it. I probably would have wished him success had he gone back to Spain with Madrid/Barca, but I am enjoying watching him firing blanks at Chelsea. Bitter I know, but he hurt me, he hurt me real bad.

Carra did what all non Man Utd fans would love to do. Carra continues to live our dreams!

Not according to Glenn Hoddle, "he's playing within himself". I agree with you of course.

Torres passing the ball out of play was the best moment for me. Lets enjoy without getting carried away, some of the shouts for Champions League places are bordering on arrogant. They are fucked, £50 million on an out of sorts striker who doesn't fit their system. Do they get rid of Drogba or Anelka to accomodate Torres?

I like this approach of only spending what the Club generates, and they've deffo stepped up to the plate in the transfer window. However, what do the owners get out if it? They must get something or they wouldn't be here. -
Cant see it being on, the pitch will probably be ok but the transport links (rail, bus, motorways) and roads aren't. Nine inches fell from around 6:30pm until midnight, and its been snowing on and off this morning.

Walton Red, you need the original CM 01/02 game, if you haven't got it you can download from that site as the game is now abandonware/freeware because it is so old. Then you need to download the 3.9.68 patch - also available from that site. Next, you download the latest patch which is bang up to date in terms of transfers, wages, valuations, competition name changes and start year i.e. 2010/11 season. The few things that are not bang up to date are Competition formats such as Europa Groups, they are still UEFA Cup round 1,2,3, etc to the final. Champs League is still 2 group stages then quarters format and competition history isnt up to date. But almost everything else is. Its dead easy to download and install, if you need any help just PM me but there are instructions on the site. It pisses all over any of the FM's (my opinion of course) in terms of playability. If you download it, get ready to lose your life all over again!

The owners are quaking in the boots. "Oh no, they say they are going to march, they're gonna sing songs and have flags, what are we going to do"? Direct action my arse, it's been two fucking years of diluted direct action! Send a fucking message with a bit of back bone! Pisses me right off! Money talks, stop giving them it!

When I think of Gerrard's performances lately I cant help but think he has one eye on the World Cup. Be it right or wrong.

Whilst I am not defending the fucker in any way, if I saw a a 6ft 15 stone wall coming at me with two feet I would probably try to defend myself, or at least show him that if he's gonna hurt me I'm gonna try and hurt him too.

Seriously, what have our scouts or Benitez seen in Babel to justify the price tag? The only ability I see in him is pace, nothing else, absolutely nothing else. He has no football brain, his movement and direction is poor. He is not particularly skillful with the ball at his feet. He cant cross, cant tackle and cant head a football. No positional sense hence the reason why nobody knows which position is best for him. His control and touch are similar to that of a brick wall. I'd rather see Pacheco or one of the other kids come on. Sorry to put the boot in on him, feel free to neg but it's just so disapointing to see him as a pro when theres loads of lads out there with more ability and desire who dont make it or get given the chance.

Not neccessarily at fault but his positioning for the second Reading goal should have been better. I think he's ok and with the right training will become a decent player for us.
