    Set to be called up to the full Scotland squad for game against Faroes next Wednesday. Dont usually like to see players called up unless they are getting a regular game at club level but really think he could be a future Scotland captain. Not seen much of him recently (apart from 90 mins at left back) but he was outstanding every time I saw him for Rangers or Scotland U21s.

    They did away to Falkirk, Could be worse this year as they play Hearts on Wednesday night. Quite a few of the Hearts players died in WW1 and they have always taken it seriously since.

    Danny Wilson is a cracking signing. He has the potential to be a Liverpool & Scotland regular for the next 15 years. Best young player i've seen come out of the SPL in years. There is no chance of McCarthur signing for Liverpool. Would struggle to get in the Rangers or Wigan teams never mind the Liverpool team.

    Not sure yet, will be either SNP or Lib Dems. Even if I wanted to there is no point voting Tories in Scotland and I wouldnt vote for Labour under Brown.

    He was one of 10 or so young players that Madrid identified. Was mainly a result of his performances when Scotland U19s were runners up in the Euros. The interest was genuine.

    agree that he is probably better off staying at Rangers and getting first team football for a few years yet. He's only just turned 18 but is destined to play at the top level eventually. Reminds a lot of Agger.

    Wilson is a good player with big potential. i've only seen him in the flesh twice when Killie have played Rangers and he played well on both occassions. Obviously a massive difference in quality of opposition but he also done well in Champions League games.

    Saw McGeady play probably 25/30 times and only been impressed a handful of times and that is when playing against Kilmarnock so I very much doubt he would look good against premiership defences.

    Looks to me like Stevies mate punched the DJ, DJ hit back out and Stevie has given him a few digs in the ribs. Not much in it, usual Friday/Saturday night fight in a pub.

    Was there today, it was some day. Weather seemed to be pretty good for golfing compared to normal. Wind was pretty strong in the afternoo though. Good to see Watson still going strong, watched Fisher for a while he looked good too, hopefully either of them win it.

    You've got to love Daly spends his money on drink, women and gambling. Its what we'd all do in the same situation. Live not far from Turnberry so going to head down Saturday, another day like today would be good.

    Peter Alliss is a legend, he gets a bit of a hard time but The Open wouldnt be the same without him.

    I've seen him play lots of times and there is no way he is good enough to play for Liverpool. To be honest he will struggle to get a game at Wolves never mind Liverpool.

    If you can afford it in terms of both money and time then go for it mate. Never done it myself but would love to. By the time you finish it the market should hae gone up again and made even more money.

    I know Ken is something of a legend round these parts for his success with the ladies even at his age. Caught some of Coronation tonight and Kev is playing away with Tyrone's Missus. Not the first time i'm sure he had an affair with the old boot who is now on Loose Woman, and Sally is not bad for her age. So will Kev ever live up to ken's standards?
