  1. £40m + Anelka would do nicely.
  2. You could label the same thing at him!
  3. I like this team. As was said ad nauseum when (the glorious) Rafa was in charge, "we don't need two defensive midfielders at home against the likes of Fulham". We need to play with an attacking front 5, batter the living shit out of them, and put out a message that we're back bigtime. Freedom!
  4. That's 'cause he's playing Gray along, hoping he'll say something that'll get him sacked. That didn't work, so amazingly the Charlotte Jackson clip got released. If this was a film, it'd get 3/10 as it's blatantly obvious that Gray's been set up. And even though he's still a cunt, he's given the best bit of commentary in the last 10 year! "Ohhhh you beauty!" *camera shaking like mad* "What a hit son, what a hit!".
  5. You're not getting it at all are you? All our work is being done out of the public eye. It's Blackpool that have been mouthing off. Same thing with Ajax. We made an offer and they refused. All of a sudden it's all over Dutch media about our bid being too low, and Suarez is actually worth one hundred billion dollars! Do you think we leaked that to the Dutch media? There's was nothing in the British press about the bid until it was in the papers over there. The King believes in The Liverpool Way, and wouldn't stand for fuckology when it comes to signing players.
  6. You already know the answer to that!
  7. Too fucking right. Where were all the Twitter ITK's on this one?
  8. Suarez > (Konchesky + Pouslen). QED.
  9. He mentioned something else too...saw it on SSN this morning (I think!). Anyways, he talks about the first time, a few years back, when he met Kenny at some managers conference. Holloway was player manager at that stage. He went up and asked Kenny for his autograph, "'cause I thought he was a genius of a player". "I can't tell you what he said to me, 'cause he thought I was taking the mick!". Fair play to Holloway. Top man.
  10. Can't wait til some Sky cunt asks Kenny something cuntish after a match. He'll tear them a new one! Can't fucking wait!
  11. Hodgson leaves Liverpool FC - Liverpool FC Liverpool FC confirmed today that manager Roy Hodgson has left the club by mutual consent. Principal Owner John Henry commented: "We are grateful for Roy's efforts over the past six months, but both parties thought it in the best interests of the club that he stand down from his position as team manager. We wish him all the best for the future." Roy Hodgson said: "Being asked to manage Liverpool Football Club was a great privilege. Any manager would be honoured to manage a club with such an incredible history, such embedded tradition and such an amazing set of fans. Liverpool is one of the great clubs in world football. I have, however, found the last few months some of the most challenging of my career. I am very sad not to have been able to put my stamp on the squad, to be given the time to bring new players into the club in this transfer window and to have been able to be part of the rebuilding process at Liverpool. The club has some great, world-class players, with whom it has been a pleasure to work and I wish the entire squad well for the rest of the season. I thank those with whom I have built up a close working relationship at the club for their loyalty and support during very testing times, and finally of course to the Liverpool fans, your passion and dedication to the club will see Liverpool at the top of the game once more." Club legend Kenny Dalglish will assume control of team matters for Sunday's third round FA Cup tie against Manchester United at Old Trafford. Henry added: "We are delighted that Kenny Dalglish has agreed to step in and manage the team for Sunday's FA Cup tie at Old Trafford and for the remainder of the season. "Kenny was not just a legendary footballer, he was the third of our three most successful managers - three giants. We are extraordinarily fortunate and grateful that he has decided to step in during the middle of this season." Chairman Tom Werner said: "No one who cares for this great club has been happy with the way this season has unfolded and we have examined options and considered at length what is best for us going forward. Kenny will bring considerable experience to the position and provide management and leadership for the rest of the season."
  12. Roy was rubbing his fingers together saying the board can't afford to sack him.
  13. I'd still have Pepe ahead of Cech. Cech's been finished since he got clocked in the head a few years back.
  14. I know of a quality manager that's just been relieved of his duties in Italy!
  15. I love Rafa, and I'd have him back in the morning. That's right, I said it! BTW Funneeee, great post up above. Agree with everything bar the Hamann thing. Granted he was pushing on, but he was still a superb footballer. Kudos goes to Rafa for getting in a world class replacement. And here endeth my participation in this thread.
  16. You need to get out of Prague 1. We went a few years back on a stag, and stayed in Prague 4...about a 15 minute tram ride to the centre. Lovely local pub around the corner from the hostel, and the pints were only €0.30 each! There was a mint strip club in the city centre. Can't remember it's name though. It was €20 to get in, and you got 10 free pints (or 6 vodka and red bulls)!! The girls were super hot. They also had a telly in every corner, so if you didn't fancy loking at the lovely ladies, you could watch the snooker. Superb.
