I would have him back. Rafa's mantra in the last few weeks has been, we need to improve the squad by getting in players that are better than what we currently have and this is getting harder as the squad is stronger. Is Owen better than what we have up front at the moment? The other quote he made was in comparing the return of Robbie to the possible return of Michael. Not got the exact quote but went something along the lines of, that was different, Robbie was coming to the end of his career and was happy to return for a bit part but Owen is still a top striker and wants to play all the time. Would Michael be happy with coming off the bench / a bit part at Liverpool. If Rafa thinks, or can be convinced that the answer to those two questions is yes, then it may happen. If not, it wont.
