  1. I think that last one is gorgeous - retro looking, yet different. The collar is very distinctive without getting in the way. All red, would be too bland.
  2. Oh that was vintage Barnes. Barclay was nutmegged and turned inside-out. Ha! ''You stuttering prick!
  3. Bale was easily a yard onside. Reina was excellent to brow-beat Bale into fluffing that chance. My main gripe was with our crossing; couldn't clear the first man on most occasions. Great battle between Walker and Johnson.
  4. A turning point for me was how *he* bawled out Reina after the Welbeck chance vs Utd.
  5. The Emirates black-bag stunt went tits down.
  6. Anyone know what stadium was used for this photoshop?

  8. Using the 'logic' applied by the meeja, couldn't one be accused of condoning political sabotage of one were to wear one of these?
  9. Aren't rants these days supposed to contain some facts?!! Poisonous piece from a man who would be immune from the stuff, by the looks of him. Fucking glutton!
  10. Loving all of this. If I was to be honest, I would take Rafa back if it didn't work out for King Kenny after three years. Though with all the heat Wenger is taking - nicely averting eyes from LFC - I wouldn't be surprised to see Benitez at the Arsenal by then. Stranger things have happened.

  12. Great post! It was designed by HKS - Hicks' hired achitects. When I first saw it, I thought would fit in with the surrounding area better than a more generic modern stadium. There is a video somewhere of the architects talking to a class about what they were trying to achieve with Stanley Park Stadium, i.e. noise, atmosphere etc. The interior is by far, more imprtant than exterior.
  13. Can anyone find a thread to bump that had some American stadium that was posted by someone as an example of a new stadium with old-world feel from a a couple of years ago? It was a red brick one that looked like a train station. Really high and steep tiers. I don't know if it was baseball or American football.
  14. Two things: Blazing Saddles is satire, and satire has to portray scenes, or tell stories of the thing it's being satirical about, ergo, not to be confused with propoganda. And the other thing is..well...this And as someone said, (Stephen Fry think), 'just because someone gets offended, doesn't mean it's offensive.' It is dispicable to shout racist chants, but I've always looked at as racists showing themselves up to ignorant fools, and it was more their problem than the subject of said chants. Although I'm causcasian, I have been the victim of some ethnic/xenophobic comments in my time, I've never cried about it. And I've also been ridiculously accused of racism by an African dude, and I have to say, that was far worse; I'd rather be called an Irish potato-munching drunken inbread, than a racist.
  15. LFC charged with failing to control it's players in the aftermath of Jay Spearing's red card at Fulham
  16. N.A.M.A. own it, don't they? Should be able to separate the two though chaps.
  17. He excelled in the Championship fro Newcastle, and seemed to bring that with him into the EPL. It's simple - he got on the end of crosses, by playing as a spearhead through the middle. It is a cliche, but he's a typical English style CF.
  18. Spearing. Spearing is the one positive we take from this game. Should be a shoo-in for next league game.
  19. It was a defo peno for them, I can't see how th ref couln't give it, but had the Delap handball been given - as it should have been - it wouldn't be an issue.
