I suspect many would take Rafa's 'failure' in the Prem this season

No fucking way do we just go for the best deal possible - its pay us what we want or he stays, end of. £25m is a fair price

The most interesting bit about this programme is trying to decide if Woolnough has had a facelift -
I expect the relevance of this depends on who was asked the question

Aye but we'd probably be much nearer to the title than City are likely to be -

Aren't RBS trying hard to facilitate a sale via preferential interest rates - maybe they'll put the payments on hold until we're sold?? Haha can't believe I just said that

It's like watching United v no mark side - losing 1-0 with 10 minutes to go - hoping they'll lose but knowing they'll score 2 in injury time. Someone will come in with a good offer on 31st August
-
hush now, can't say that either

It seems to me he has little choice if City wont let him go to a rival - unless he signs for Blackpool/Wigan etc. Maybe it'll serve as a warning to other prospective City players, but I doubt it

The ruler of Sharjah since January 1972, Shaikh Sultan is a pragmatist when it comes to business. He has turned his emirate into a business centre complementing that of Dubai. I was against Roy being appointed and I'm still unsure. I thought his appointment was uninspiring, I think the players we are currently being linked with are uninspiring and I think he has on occasion said too much in interviews. On the positive side I am liking his stance on Masch. He hasnt so far been afraid of playing kids (I know out of necessity sometimes) The press like him and so will not be as negative towards us and the players so far seem to be enjoying playing for him.

The general consensus is that our first team is very good but our squad is lacking, we therefore need to keep players like Maxi whether he wants to go or not.

I expect Rafa will be fairly confident of getting most of the transfer funds that are generated by sales

I agree, there's no doubt that being at Liverpool has made him a huge star and there's no guarantees that he will play any better for Chelsea than he does for Spain. But strikers have to have faith in their own abilities and I've no doubt that Fernando will believe he can be succesful wherever he goes

Popular choice this - to get rid of Degen. Not too many worried about Insua, Riera, El Zhar or Plessis either. Maybe starting to get a little suspicious though when Roy says Jay is ready for the first team squad.
