  1. This is one thing I've never understood. Anfield road is not a main road, it's certainly not essential. traffic could simply go down Arkles lane and left around the park, or onto Walton breck road and back to the vale that way. Theirs the issue of the listed buildings behind the anny road end, but they must be the shittest listed buildings in the country that they are not worth the cost of development. Put 6k on the anny road end easy, and develop the main stand to have the dreaded boxes and another 6k. 57k and more boxes would fit LFC perfectly in my opinion.
  2. Yer I thought that. But then I thought it's quite good educating a younger generation that are too young to even know about the disaster. It's strange editorial choice either way.
  3. Good point above. Walkout 60th minute orchestrated by walking from block 305.
  4. We only need to get a couple of hundred their at 1200, enter the shop, mill around a bit and when everyones in just sit in. Couldn't use the thing all day, go the match 15mins before kick off and it's a days trade gone.
  5. Read that in the mirror on Saturday. Another brilliant piece from Brian Reade.
  6. Gotta keep going, it's coming to crunch time. I want a sit in in the shop followed by a walkout during the match. With everyone leaving at the same time, 60th minute maybe, as they leave all down the front and throw a black scarf on the pitch, if not black a red Liverpool one. Hopefully 7-8k would do it. Fuck me it's only one bastard game. If we can't do it now we never will! (see Dortmund protest at ticket price increase for inspiration and let's all fucking grow a set.)
  7. Groundshare? What? It's really odd for Dalglish to suddenly pull that from the blue. It seems out of context with the rest of the piece. Does anyone know if Kenny actually sits down and writes the article himself, or is it one where a writer asks him questions and puts it together? (I'm pretty certain that's what Lawrenson does in the mirror) if it is written up by somebody else after an interview it would explain. If Dalglish has thrown it in of his own accord, like actually wanted to bring it up, it would suggest work behind the scenes.
  8. This for real!!! Even if Nando or LFC can't sue they should both start kicking off and saying as a point of principle they want to never be associated with the shit rag again. At least it will educate a younger generation of fans not to buy that shite. Go on Nando turn it on the cunts.
  9. The timeline now is so small, if Hicks is here in 2011 we are fucked as the whole process of removing him starts again. As everyone has pointed out Hicks doesn't give a shit regards protests/marches etc. Our hope now is to scare anyone who plans refinancing this scum bag. Some sort of statement has to be made that gets enough attention but is also feasible. I really hope someone influential in our fanbase has something up there sleeve for this Saturday.
  10. I'll be going in. My season ticket is pre paid so don't yet see the point in not going in. However, I want a boycott and believe the best way for this to start is a walk out. I sit in 104 and starting a walk out from there, by myself, maybe with my dad, is a waste of time, no impact. If it's started from block 305 and they walk all the way down singing anti yank songs, with no to refinancing banners then I would 100% follow. I know this makes me sound like a sheep, but from where I sit as stated me leaving has no impact. I liked the idea of the 'were gonna leave in a minute' chant. 55 min: were gonna leave in a minute. Constant for a few minutes. 58 min: start slow walk down from 305. Slow to give people chance to follow. 63 min: all those that are leaving singing at bottom of kop few minutes later out. Lads from SOS or anyone hand out leaflets after the match to the 'kopites' that stayed with some emotive language on the situation. From here this could then lead to the boycott of a cup game, in fact the leaflet could include the info I seen on here at the start of the season on how to get out of the auto ticket cup scheme. (I wrote this post on an iPhone, which I see as a sign of my commitment.)
  11. Nani played a few superb crosses at woodison, I'd be surprised if this wasnt their plan for this weekend. Particulary as Nani and Berbatov were rested tonight against Rangers. I'm worried and fear the loss of industry from kuyt in our wide areas could be devestating. (I'm not particularly a Kuyt fan, but games like this he'd be my first choice!)

    Aquilani

I was really looking forward to Aquilani playing this season, I thought he'd be like a new signing of sorts. I'm disappointed he's gone on loan, but by no means shocked. Does anyone know his relationship with the squad as a whole? I'd assume someone with his record for pulling out of action with a mere scratch or a sneeze really begins to grate on his team mates. Maybe him been around was detrimental to the squad. I am just insinuating with the above, that's why I ask if anyone has any insight to his working relationships.
  13. Someone on here posted the best solution a while back: the BBC should show uniteds game, show the oppositions manager interview, then, instead of interviewing Phelan, they should have a stock message they show every week. Something like 'due to an ongoing dispute sir alex ferguson refuses to speak to the BBC.' simple, united are shown but they have no feedback. He'd be wound up to fuck knowing he wasn't getting uniteds spin across regarding refs and decisions etc. (felt dirty putting the sir in their, in quotes, not my words)
  14. Mascherano staying would be a surprise bonus, so can't blame the manager for planning ahead for what looked an inevitable transfer. Also depth and options, in the case of injuries/suspensions Gerrard can go play the CAM or RM or left mid so you need cover for stevie and he offers cover for three positions. Before you mention it I don't think Aquilani will be played in the centre, I see his only hope been if Cole is out or rested. We lack cover for both flanks, but I don't see it as a major problem as Gerrard will just be deployed there when neccessary and that is where the cover in the middle is essential.
  15. Just had someone on 5 live from SOS, missed his name but he came across very well. Just sent them the following text though, Liverpool FC is on the brink of administration if a sale isn't completed in the imminent future. You get a guy on the phone, talk for a minute, ask the same pointless questions about how Benitez spent money. Then move on to jobs with koualas in Australia. Great journalism five live.
  16. very much agree with this. The amount of people who are on these lists that are now living abroad/not as interested in footie/ dead, is a massive amount. Theirs also a number on it who are just on it so they can say to their mates; when a letter came through asking for £680 they'd find a reason for not paying for it. If United are struggling from their list it'll probably make ourselves/Arsenal worry about our lists and the strength they have for forecasting numbers. Which inevitably as a fan/consumer has to be good for us.
  17. I heard his interview on ssn about cole coming here and he was very complimentary of Liverpool football club, sorry don't have quotes, but when I seen it I distinctly remember thinking he made some classy comments about us, which he has no obligation/need to do at all. I know he writes for the s*n, but he's nothing to do with LFC to be fair to him. (if it was Jamie it would be very different). I really can't see why so many on here hate him, can understand why they may think he's bit of a prick, not to their taste. But one post on this thread put him up their on a cuntastul with Allardyce, seriously?
  18. Hadn't seen that broughton quote on moores. He's gone up 10 fold in my estimations for that (not that he was ever that low, as some on here make him out). David Moores can fuck off, his letter was shit and had next to no impact. He showed himself to be gutless as well as being dumb as fuck. Someone senior at the club calling Moores for being a greedy twat, excellent.
  19. Stevies going nowhere, stevies going nowhere, la la la la, la la la la, stevies going nowhere!
  20. Houllier is out of order, he knows how Ginola feels about this and he still bangs on about it.
  21. Well in Rooney. Its a disgrace to be booed by your 'supporters'. I personally think a load of posts on here are bollocks, if it was Carra we'd be praising him for his staunch passion. Rooney, Gerrard et al are professionals and more importantly football obsessed lads who have dreamed of playing in world cups all their lives. They may earn mega bucks but I reckon nobody is more pissed off than them at the shite performances they've served up. To be booed by some prick and his mate who support Reading and QPR and call you a scouse cunt everytime you play one bad ball must really make you mad. Im not into international footie (I like it but cant fall for England, cos of the nobs) too many classless fans whi cant appreciate a couple of poor performances. Before you criticise this, please bare in mind these are the same fucking fans who will demand Rooney gets a knighthood for scoring the winner against Slovenia.
