  1. I don't think he's had a particularly good season but I do think he deserves another season, but only as back up to a top class right winger. We need 2 players for every position and he'd be my back up for the right hand side. If he wanted to get a game he'd have to play really well when given the chance which would obviously benefit us. If he doesn't take his chances then we can sell him next summer.
  2. We park on the All Saints car park which is opposite the Flat Iron and round the corner. It's only £4 and if you get there early enough it's easy to park and good to get out sharpish after the match. Which is good considering how close to the ground it is.
  3. In my opinion he is, similar to Kuyt and Bellamy. I don't think he'd score enough goals to win us the league, especially away from home. I think Berbatov is an excellent player though and would like to see him here, just alongside someone who would score 25-30 league goals a season.
  4. Because he's an out and out goal scorer which is what we need. Robbie Keane and Berbatov are both quality players but more second strikers and we've already got 4 of them. I think Defoe would score shit loads in our team as we create loads of chances. And I reckon we could get him for a decent price as Jol isn't his biggest fan for some reason.
  5. Don't forget we're getting Jagielka for £9 million in summer. Can't remember what paper it was in but it was in 1 of them a few months back.
  6. I wouldn't sign another centre back until Hyypia retires. We aren't going to get a top quality player to come and be 3rd of 4th choice. I'd go with Carragher, Agger, Hyypia and then have the younger players compete for 4th choice. We've got enough centre backs in the reserves, Hobbs, Paletta, Rogue, Antwi etc so I'd let them compete and play them in the League Cup games and and dead rubber Champions League games. If there is an injury crisis with our centre backs next season we can always cover it with Arbeloa or by playing 3 at the back.
  7. 1. 7 this morning 2. Saturday morning 3. Never 4. Friday night watching that new Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse thing after a couple of joints 5. Just. Number 3 is a blatant lie
  8. I'd go with; Reina Finnan Carragher Agger Evra Ronaldo Gerrard Scholes Giggs Rooney Smith Pretty much our defence and their attack. The second striker was the hardest, went with Smith as I think he's ace when fully fit.
  9. Because he knows he'd get beat and it will be his last big pay day.
  10. I'm pretty confident that Calzaghe would beat Jermain Taylor.
  11. Good idea. Wish I had a season ticket though.
  12. I like him after that comment!
  13. I'd go with; Reina Finnan Carragher Agger Arbeloa Pennant Gerrard Sissoko Riise Fowler Bellamy There's no way I'd play Dudek and I'd give Sissoko a run out as he's a bit off form at the minute and the only way for him to get his form back is to play games.
  14. I was listening to Five Live last night and Graham Taylor said the announcer at Old Trafford was trying to get the crowd up for the game. Then he said he might upset some United supporters but that would never happen at Anfield.
  15. Just out of interest, how do the people who think Xabi's had a good season compare this season with his first? I think he's had a good season but as I said earlier I also think it's the poorest of the 3 he's had with us.
  16. Riise Kuyt Bellamy (or Crouch, depending on who's playing) Alonso Gerrard
  17. About 2007 years ago in Jerusalem. I would have been Jesus's best mate.
  18. The fittest birds in Emmerdale are the Australian one who was Marilyn in Home and Away, Debbie and Jasmine. And Mandy and Lisa of course.
  19. I really hate them both, get right on my tits. Would rather punch them both in the face than shag them.
  20. I'll be watching it, boxing is ace. Calzaghe will twat Manfredo, knock out in the 7th. You heard it here first.
  21. I think Alonso suffers because Rafa makes him play as a defensive midfielder. He's better when he can attack more in my opinion. As for how he's done this season I think it's his worst of the 3 he's had with us. His best was the first and he's not reached the heights since then. Remember when he first came and was sweeping 40 yard balls across the pitch every week and he was getting into and around the box, his goal against Arsenal at home being the best example. We never see those sides of his game anymore but as I say, it's because Rafa has him playing more defensively. He still fuckin rules though.
  22. Steve McManaman. Class player during his time here and along with Fowler was our best player for much of the 90's. He didn't win what he should have with us though, his talent deserved more than 1 FA Cup and 1 League Cup.
