  1. Going on a night out in Cheltenham Anyone got any advice on good places to eat at? Or any bars they would recommend Cheers in advance
  2. Not the worst really this year Got a postcard from the Alps Perhaps people are worried how I'll react
  3. Yep you called it correct We went out Saturday night - we made out after a club night, but she ushered me out of the club saying her ex was there (and Albanian kick boxer) Texted me today to say she still has feeling for him. Nice That is 5 dumpings this calender, vs one I have managed to dump Surely a record of some sort I think I am dating the wrong kind of girl, but as always I never learn, and repeatedly make the same mistakes One day eh - but good call mate
  4. Anyone heard of this game - is it a big thing? Reason I ask - was in the pub last night and I met my mates brother who is a programmer for this thing I was trying to pitch him a character - but wondered what the deal was He had some hilarious stories about the fans
  5. 35 million I think Went to Athetico vs Villarreal in Jan I didnt think Falcao is anything special - but he is good in the box, he needs lots of time to do anything and doesnt look particulary strong Just a finisher I think Diego and the Turan were good - but were the definition of lightweight Coutouis is only 19, was Ok - but he is terrible at crosses - he tried to come for a corner unchallenged and couldn't punch affectively in the six yard box (he had two hilarious goes at it) He would brick it if he had to challenge Carroll or Samba or someone of that ilk
  6. Watched a couple of years back Its is excellent - the first series is the best as the format gets slightly tired with time The great thing about it is that it well paced, doesnt duck the difficult issues and also doesnt just go for the crowd pleasing endings I think Saracens characters therad is one of the most melancholy stories I have seen Defo recommended
  7. Hugo Solid date movie And Oscar fare 8/10
  8. Agreed In retrospect a mistake Nevermind - I am seeing her on Sunday (if she doesnt bail) - so I guess we will see
  9. I had the exact experience. Card and flowers for someone I recently started seeing. No response of thanks. Crystallised what she thinks of me I guess Onwards and upwards
  10. They'll pummell Italy I think The centre pairing was good - the 13 was very fierce in the contact area and have always rated Strettle I think the Irish will but us today. Our second row is weak ( don't rate Ian Evans) and Earls absence will be good for them - they can have more presence in midfield Cuthbert is a monster winger though Hopefully Hook doesn't come off the bench and screw up
  11. Mmmm I think your confusing me with someone else. I never had the pleasure of dating a LFC fan Disappointingly I went on a date yesterday with a colleague who I like. However I found out she is alot older then me, and strangely this is an issue to me I am oddly upset ( I think it is because I actually liked her - she is the 15th girl I have dated since September and the first one who I thought had potential) Think I'm going have to make my excuses again Dating. sometimes is no fun
  12. Managed to engineer myself out of dating three women this month (pre-Valentines) My only regret is that I didnt use the line from Starship Troops when they asked me if their were my girlfriend (It's you till you die or I find someone better) I can't wait to use that in the future
  13. Could someone with a gasp of the rules explain how Moore stripped the ball our of the Baltimore players hand and it wasn't a touch down I thought the Patriots were hot favourites - again I definitely am no expert - but that looked alot tighter than expected
  14. Did you get through on the phone then?
  15. Just wanted to check - but no online sales? seems odd
  16. Just recovering from the 12 dates in 10 days Saw 4 (waiting on a 5th) again One further a third time and got her again this week Good learning process - especially given my poor track record history a) I shouldn't be myself - I realized that should only perhaps happen at three months - I have an appalling line in black comedy with I realize is appalling (and makes me sound like a cock (which I am beginning to think I am) b) Looks don't matter - I have improved my looks incredibly (well at least from ugly to like average) and my success hasn't improved much c) Internet dating is hard work - your success ratio is hard - conversion rates are even harder d) Dating women in London is hard - they seem to have alot of weird issues and hang-ups and talking to them is tough e) Single women peri-30 (30-35) are hard work - they seem really picky, set in their ways. I imagine because they have had bogus experiences with men in the past but still hard work I think the main problem is that my head isnt in the game properly - I think you have to be to succeed and I am not cut throat predator (odd choice of phrase I grant you) to manipulate well Sadly, at the moment, I prefer watching a LFC game to any of these dates Happy hunting
  17. Harsh The three so far are nice - not stunners, but nice looking and good jobs (manager, nurse, lawyer) One of them is a psychologically not quite all there - but I like the potential risks and benefits I've got a blonde Russian lawyer this time next week, a doctor and lawyer on Sunday and a government person (not sure what she does) on Saturday Another lawyer tomorrow and Monday and the crazy for Friday night Today is my rest day I`ve got yesterdays one lined up for date 2 next Thursday I think I may have a problem - but I'm working through it
  18. Ditto for me After a long time out of the game - I have 9 dates in 7 days First three have been Ok - but fatigue is starting to set in. By this time next week - I am going to be punch drunk - and the danger is that I am getting 2nd dates so I am confused what I have said to whom
  19. Agreed Excellent ending - Awards all around I think Very gruesome
  20. I think his selection is spot on myself - including the bench Hook fullback defense is suspect(RE; SA try in the pool stages) - he goes high and tries to rip the ball (because of his upper body strength I presume) Having him on the bench allows him to come on at ten if we are behind to help with the running game, but if we are ahead he can come on to partner Jamie Roberts and allow us to play territory Halfpenny is smaller and more mobile - so when ROG keeps the ball airborne we will be able to counterattack North will run Darcy channel so we will get success there - if there is parity up front Wales will win. I can't see the Irish dominating the Welsh front row (especially Gethin), and the lineout should be fine if they go for front ball The Irish backrow might target and nullify Warburton - but everyone is falling to mention Lydiate - who is fast, strong and a proper unit (like a Lions 2007 Ryan Jones) However, I really rate Kidney and I imagine revenge will be on the cards for the Irish England should beat the disorganized French - picking Flood takes the pressure off Wilko and allows England to play territory and should win by 7 - 10 points NZ vs Argies - no contest I fancy Australia to win - with Pocock back even if they have limited ball they have the best backs including Digby to sneak it - especially as SA have hamstrung themselves by playing Smit
  21. Another character from the Shield Brillant
