  1. Free beer and butties tonight for any manc who goes to the brick.
  2. Funniest thing that could happen would be for woodison to be condemmed as unsafe and not fit for purpose. They have no ground until the unicorn stadium is built, home games are played at Rhyl’s ground guaranteeing a sizeable crowd. The new stadium remains a disused dock, loans are called in, now bankrupted and thrown out of the league, they find their true home in the Welsh league. Playing on a field in Flint. The majority of their fanbase is happy, no longer in the RS’s shadow and no need to travel to RS city anymore. Then, under manager Moyes they qualify for the UCL, play us and get twatted by a record score. Oblivion follows.
  3. BS speaks some sense at last Saint Domingo sums up his team “We are a complete non entity”
  4. What did you do on your holidays this year? I went to Wigan to watch Everton. It was great cos Dortmund beat the RS while we were away.
  5. All the so called top clubs banned from Europe after Hyssel, except one, have had success since, built new grounds or enlarged theirs. All but one are in Europe on a regular basis and are now in the so called big six. Everton in the 90s was stuck in the past, drifting along not going anywhere, so was LFC. Houllier began to change the football side, Rafa continued that process; Everton stayed stuck in the past, royle, the drunkard, walter smith and moyes could all have been managers in the 70s no idea of modern football. The football side stagnated while we at least remained competitive. On the commercial side both clubs were left behind by the mancs and the new money coming into the game. While Moores was in charge we missed the opportunity to make the most of the EPL spending, as did the blues. Then came Hicks and the other twat; that fundamentally changed LFC which was forced to modernise by the present owners; who have restored us to our place at football’s top table. While this was happening the Blues were still stuck in the 80s, with the same owners, board, ground and „english” manager no longer fit for purpose in modern football. Today they are in the position we were in after Moores went. The new owner is a false messiah promising the earth while needing billions to achieve it; is it any wonder so many of their fans hate us and why, as the gap between us grows, the hatred increases? Most blues haven’t analysed why they are shit, why should they, when it‘s easier to blame us? Either a new moneybags owner will come in and do what ours has done or eventually they will go the way of Forest, Charlton, Birmingham and the other dross making up the lower divisions. No doubt blaming the RS as they wave goodbye. Sad, but that‘s how it is when you don‘t learn from your history.
  6. Bring one or two in who are better that what you have, every year. It‘s the Liverpool Way
  7. Marina Hydes article in todays Guardian goes s far as a paper can to call out city‘s cheating https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2019/may/15/uefa-parking-ticket-fines-will-not-rein-in-football-maverick-clubs
  8. Wonderful report Dave, unbiased as always. Shaq‘s little face made me nearly choke on my breakfast.
  9. What would we pay for a Souness in centre midfield today. Nobody tried that Barca shit with him and didn‘t pay for it. We have lacked that since MacMahon (a poor imitation of Souey) went to City. KLOPP‘s teamtalk on Tuesday should end with „Right boys Go out there and make sure you see how fast they can limp“
  10. 3 headers, Tony Hately in a uefa cup game, forget who it was against, Köln? In the fog. Visability so bad kop had to ask the Annie Road „who scored“
  11. Great Report Dave, one point, Alison did great on the shot that hit the post, he gave Hazard nowhere else to put the ball. I thought it was great goalkeeping and deserved a mention.
  12. Benteke‘s form.....it‘s what Hodgson does to players......Poulson was a reasonable midfielder before and after Woy got his hands on him.
  13. Bs stupidity is not new - When I was at school,in the early 60s, a mate whose dad was a BS, told me his dad burned the shoes he wore to the Anfield derby every year. Win lose or draw.
  14. What a stupid deluded arsehole, any sensible person reading this must be thinking it’s a guardian printing error, or the rantings of a lunatic; every other team has us first or second. He should be sectioned.
  15. Never heard a blue talk about Bolton’s goal that should have been given. Two faced twats
  16. Rogers has the arrogance of David Cameron and the management ability of Theresa May, he’s up there with with Ryan Giggs for showing loyalty. Looking forward to a Paddy Power advert from Pasco and co.
  17. The original sweeper keeper was the late Tommy Lawrence, though his sweeping often involved body checking the advancing forward. The Flying Pig Was an often unsung hero in Shanks‘s first great team, Clem followed in his footsteps and refined it: was he our best ever keeper?
  18. Harry winks -scott parker syndrome Eric Dier - aptly named
  19. Clough was a massive admirer of Sir Bob, he wasn‘t alone in believing Sir Bob should have been knighted. Quite simply the greatest; he had the ruthlessness that Shanks lacked to go with tactical genius. Listen to Souness talking about him, Souey clearly thinks he was the best ever and I wouldn‘t argue with Mr Souness. Herbert‘s book argues Sie Bob wasn‘t the nice uncle depicted in the media, he could be as nasty as Slur, but it all stayed in house. RIP Bob, we owe you so much.
  20. First club to hound their first black player out of the club. Cliff Marshall, and I was told that by the brother of a then current everton player.
  21. And before that Davey Wilson, Peter Thompson‘s supposed replacement
  22. Over: Eric Dire dogshit on legs not that I‘ve heard anyone sensible rate him under: Robbo
  23. He’s not wrong; all international games are shite but these are shite squared, friendlies shite cubed.
