  1. I'd be very surprised if he was genuinely still in the club's/Jurgen's long-term plans. I'd also be quite surprised if he was in Atletico's.
  2. If he goes there and replicates his Spurs form he's more than replacing Aguero in terms of goals and assists. He's clearly a very good player. The only real question over him is his fitness, really.
  3. Eh? Pretty much every politics journo reported she was sacked, including the ones who are favourable/close to Starmer. The idea that this was just the shitpost left is pretty wild. Stephen Bush, for instance, is definitely not part of leftist shitpost twitter. He fucking hates them.
  4. Sounds great. I mean, I think there's more chance of Change UK being reformed and romping home to a 97 style landslide, but still, I'd absolutely love to see it. Whoever retains the brand wins imo. Anyone going it alone is lobbying for the bailiffs/spending their days on the allotment in no time.
  5. Are you talking about Labour being terminated and two new parties emerging from the ashes? Coz if so I just don't see that ever happening (the termination of the party).
  6. He was starting to miss quite a few games through injury, wasn't he? Sure I remember Julien Laurens saying something like that on the Totally Football show.
  7. It'll just be an endless cycle of fighting for control of the party, imo. The factions aren't going to agree to dissolve the party and go their separate ways, and any that do go it alone will face a similar fate to the funny tinge lot. Even in WORST ELECTION FOR LABOUR EVER!!! it still got 10m votes. That's a helluva thing to just walk away from.
  8. It is a shame that we're averse to that kind of transfer.
  9. On 5 Live the other night Dion Dublin said it wasn't City's quality that had got them so far, but their hard work.
  10. I should have pretended I knew, then my post would have been all multilayered and stuff.
  11. Fair play, he's going out with a bang.
  12. What was the design brief? TV interference?
  13. Seems to me that making sure those 30-39 year olds stay red when they become the 40-49 year olds, and building on the popularity you already have with everyone younger, might be worth a try.
  14. The only thing that will finish Johnson is senior Tories and the right wing press deciding it's time for him to go, and even then it'll just be to facilitate a quick change at the top before normal service resumes (i.e. the Tories back to 40%). If you're pinning your hopes on a grand unmasking moment with the boomers, that translates to actual changes in voting behaviour, you're in for a long wait.
  15. Wolfwalkers - traditional animation about a lonely young girl who finds friends and more in the woods outside her city. It's a children's film but the story's excellent and there's enough going on to keep it interesting for the grown-ups. Great soundtrack, too. 8/10.
  16. Really is quite incredible that he's actually paid to share his thoughts.
  17. Bonkers main event last night. Procházka is stupidly fun to watch.
