I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure Martin O'Neill publicly criticised him because of his attitude, much in the same way Houllier did with Gerrard. As for Maloney, the lad can take a mean free kick and is talented but is easily pushed off the ball.

Ablett, Traore and Biscan are not even close to the top 5 worst players. Diao? Carter? Kozma?

The thing with Dalglish is that he will always be remembered for the player he was and for what he done as Manager. But he way went way beyond the call of duty after Hillsborough, along with a lot of the players. Him and his wife genuinely cared and were visibly upset by the events and it no doubt played part in him leaving the way he did. The word legend is to often banded around these days, but not in this case. He is without doubt No. 1 in my eyes and always will be.

I can't believe Phil Neal hasn't had more nominations. His medal haul is unsurpassed at the club and I may be wrong but doesn't hold the record for the most consecutive appearances for the club. He may not have the personality, but he's more of a legend in my eyes than the present captain.

I can't understand why they booed John Barnes, he wasn't exactly a success up there (supercaligobalisticcelticareatrocious) springs to mind, but he didn't slag the club off or anything, did he?
