All of the first lot of ordinary tickets for this season have already sold out with only limited tickets still to go on sale to locals. They could sell out the anfield road expansion with season ticket goers, that's more than likely but the stand will only be viable for them if it's got corporate tickets in. It's how many of them sell. We haven't sold out all the corporate tickets yet

Juve have signed Higuain and Pjanic for the same as a Pogba. 9 goals out, 46 goals in based on last season. That's great business. Plus they've signed that lad Pjaca who looked great for Croatia on the wing, Benatia at the back and Dani Alves. Great going that

I know it's not about this solely and theirs more to the game than goals and you have to consider the position they have played but.... Wijnaldum scored the same amount of premier league goals as Lucas, Can and Allen have scored premier league goals in their entire career. Looking at the way he's been using Grujic as well I think he's looking for the second centre mid to be attacking the box and Wijnaldum would be very good at that

It is odd I'll give you that. Doesn't mean it's a bad thing though. Wijnaldum is, from what little I know of Zielinski, a miles more accomplished footballer currently. You'd expect to pay more for that. Whether Wijnaldum will improve us or fit in the team the same as they thought Zielinski would, well he might not. I'd rather us sign the better footballer of the two though. Gives them more to work with

I thought Dahoud was first choice and we were fannying about trying to get him even though we were told they won't sell. Zielinski was desperate to come to us but he was the back up to Dahoud but while we've been waiting for Dahoud then someone's snuck in and done a deal. That makes Wijnaldum 3rd choice really. People saying he's played as an attacking player and a left winger. He's played centre midfield as well. I know little of either Zielinski or Dahoud but Wijnaldum could be a cracking centre mid. Loads of pace, loads of drive and is a decent passer and finisher. I'd take him over the other two lads right now. Only problem he had last year is he didn't really get involved a lot for Newcastle but it was McLaren, he made Gerrard look shite. I'm sure Wijnaldum was captain of PSV and Fetenoord. Playing in centre midfield. He's got a bit about him Gareth Barry was option one over Xabi Alonso. Diouf over Anelka. Loads of first choice signings are shite

Who was first choice?

James Milner is a, well, a James Milner and he played loads at centre mid last season. It's 2016, it's Jurgen, our closed minded view of footballers doesn't apply anymore. He's making up his own rules

Wijnaldum is a better player than Zielinski. If he's being brought in as the alternative to him, that's a good thing. I reckon Klopps gonna play Can and Henderson as the defensive midfield partnership and swap one out for Wijnaldum when we want to attack. Also I think the klopp pressing means you try and win the ball further up the pitch meaning a traditional holder isn't as required. We're gonna be majestic going forward. We'll lose every game 5-4

He scores more goals than Lallana. I wonder if he's going to come in to compete with Can, Henderson, Grujic and Milner for a centre mid position? He can also provide cover for Coutinho and Firmino. Hes a lot more attacking minded than I'd like to see playing centre mid for us but I suppose it gets more goals in the team. This is assuming Markovic, Allen and Lucas are all off.

Wouldn't be a bad replacement Higuain for Pogba. Higuain got 25 more goals than Pogba last year or something daft like that. We know all too well what having a goal a game striker can make. If we had the choice between the two I'd go for Higuain every time

Strange signing for Spurs if they get Gotze. They've got Alli and Eriksen already who like to play in his position. I have no doubt though that wherever he goes he'll be brilliant and we'll be able to add him to the list of players who could have been. £20m is the equivalent of Ibe and Sinclair.

If they sign Mikhytaryan as well then it'll be interesting how they get him Martial, Zlatan, Rashford and Rooney all in the same team. It's a decent problem to have though

We need more pace in the team. We need more goals. We lack both of them at right wing and I think Mane gives us what we're looking for. It's boring and shit and predictable to go back to Southampton but at least this time he's actually a player who can fit in. Does anyone know of any right sided pacey goal scorers we could sign who don't play for Southampton? That Pjaca who came on as sub for Croatia looked good but that's the only time I've seen him play. Their's got to be others

That Pjaca was electric when he came on

He's 5 years older and has virtually the same goal scoring record as Mane in a similar number of games played over the last 2 years. Genuine question as I know little of Nolito, why would he be better than Mane?
