  1. I think today proved that Maxi should start every game. We always look far more balanced and less prone to by pass the midfield with him in the line up. And although Agger and Aurelio did nothing special, it helped tremendously bringing in three players whose first instinct is to keep it on the ground.
  2. Roy has confessed to eating a Tesco's marghawhita pizza. Investigations are ongoing.
  3. Not sure they're up to solving this. May have to get the Americanas involved.
  4. Fucking ludicrous he gets another game after last night. Come on, Bolton.
  5. 8 of the 14 involved tonight played in the 4-0 win over Real Madrid less than 2years ago. The other 6 include Joe Cole (53 international caps), Glen Johnson (29 international caps) and Raul Meireles (43 international caps). All three are players Hansen has raved about in the past.
  6. Fucking disgrace. Our worst league campaign since 1954 and Gray and Perry get more animated about some Rafa banner in the crowd. Anything but discuss the massive elephant in the room of an incompetent British manager. Pair of xenophobic, intellectually bankrupt cunts. Ifithadnabinferrafaszonalmarking.
  7. I expect them to improve after the window as he'll have the chance to kill some of the power cliques and install some of his own loyalists in the squad. Still not half the manager he was in 2001, though.
  8. The combination of keys/coat, no pizza and no signs of a struggle would seem to suggest 3 possibilities. 1) She was popping around the block to deliver the pizza to a neighbour and didn't feel the need to lock up or take her coat. The neighbour in question kills her and disposes of the body in the early hours of Saturday/Sunday. Not sure if the police have said whether the flat locks automatically. 2) She dropped off the pizza on the way back to her flat. Knowing her address, the killer planted the coat/keys there to throw off the police. 3) She locked herself out while delivering the pizza. Either the recipient killed her or she approached another neighbour for help getting back into the flat and he's the culprit. She lived on a busy road so it doesn't seem likely she was forced into a stranger's car or attacked on foot.
  9. That may or may not be valid as a philosophical argument but UK law clearly stipulates that criminal behaviour is relevant to a person's immigration status. And this cunt was well aware of that fact when he impregnated some bird shortly after his release. I'm not commenting on the morality of deporting criminals but on the perverse invoking of the "family life" clause.
  10. It debases the legal system when a criminal exploits one law to avoid sanction under another. The fact that he had the two kids while the threat of deportation was looming should negate the "family life" argument. And liberals defending this decision should consider that alot of deserving ayslum seekers will be punished due to the political environment created by not deporting this turd.
  11. Then how do you explain why one has a European Cup, UEFA Cup, FA Cup, two La Ligas and an 86 point season to his name whereas the other's crowning achievement was the Liechtenstein Milkwood Cup (or whatever tinpot league he won in 1963). Surely you can't attribute that solely to better defensive organization on Rafa's part. Yes, his inherent caution held us back at crucial times but the 4-2-3-1 system produced some cracking stuff at various times. You don't outscore Man United and Real Madrid 8-1 in 5 days without a half decent attacking philosophy. Roy Hodgson coudn't conjure up a week like that in his wildest wet dreams.
  12. It would be great if everyone played with Dirk's committment but the reality is that almost all world class players are prima donnas to some extent. They perform when managed by a credible authority figure who commands respect based on his accomplishments. Selling Torres because the clown in charge can't motivate him would be massively self-defeating.
  13. He may have a blinkered view of Benitez's tenure and an unfair view of Houllier's but everything he says about Hodgson is true. Hard to argue that he's the worst managerial appointment the club have made in 50 years (at least Souness didn't have 30 years of mediocrity on his CV).
  14. Is this Article XV of the Rafa Bashing Handbook? Insua played well for an entire season in 08/09, contributed five assists last season and is 21. Konchesky can barely string two decent games together, contributes virtually nothing going forward and is 29. Neither are good enough for a top 4 team but I'd take Insua back in a heartbeat if this clown is the only alternative.
  15. If this were were United, Whiskey nose would spit his dummy out and Atkinson wouldn't ref another of their games for 2 years. As usual, we'll just take it up the arse.
  16. When Atkinson or Mason are in charge, I assume every single marginal decision will go against us. Pair of utter weapons.
  17. Possibly the stupidest post I've ever read on here.
  18. Rafa has more magic in his little finger than Souness has displayed his entire pitiful post playing career.
  19. It's not unreasonable to expect individuals making over £21k per year to fund part of the education that made those earnings possible. If the debt serves as a disincentive for some to attend university, all the better. Rather than churning out thousands of mediocre graduates, the system should encourage young people to think more carefully about the true value of a degree. Many would genuinely benefit from forgoing one in favour of work experience, vocational studies, volunteering, starting a business etc. Treating university as an essential birthright that should be extended to 60% of the population just debases the whole concept.
