Norwich played well but Leicester piled the pressure on second half without getting any real clear cut chances. They kept the ball well and didn't seem to panic. Norwich were able to hit them on the break though, and MOTD showed all that.
He was injured for 3 months when he first joined and got converted from an attacking midfielder into a holding one at a new club with about 7 new starters.
He was fine by the new year that season.
Great news. Great player to bring on to settle a game, and can provide attacking cover for both full back positions against 70% of the teams in this league.
Klopp wanted to control the second half and made good subs. Excellent evening for us.
Shaqiri and Origi have now given us proper options.
Bobby and Salah have to respond now.
What's that based on? This is now the third season he's been bang average, and 2016/17 now seems to be the anomoly.
We're at the stage of our development where you need to perform 8 times out of 10, and stay match fit. He's done neither, and shown no signs he could.
Timing is massive in football, and I think he's missed the bus.
Another pint to make about this. We had a midweek must-win game and still dominated.
Massive credit to how Klopp and the staff have us prepared for 3 games a week now, despite the (relatively) small squad.
