That show really dropped off its quality for me I did the first few episodes weekly as they were released, the last three have taken me ages to do. Still have the final episode to watch, as of the last month or so. Will get round to it eventually. A real shame as it started quite well and the first 3 or so episodes were quite good in places.

If it was me and I was beat as Prime Minister by a fucking Lettuce I’d keep my mouth shut for the rest of eternity.

If you have Prime Gaming (doesn’t cost anything if you have Amazon Prime) they are also giving away Fallout 76 to download/keep on Xbox which was shite when it launched, but is a lot better now. If you play on PC Fallout 3, New Vegas and 76 are free. All the games and DLC’s are currently cheap as chips to buy also. On the XBox store I think they are all about 75% off.

Fallout - 8.5 Stimpacks out of 10 Did the first episode early this morning and it’s fucking great so far. Very faithful to the games also, tons of Easter eggs but a well made show in its own right. All 8 episodes released at once. Looks like Amazon have done a really good job with this adaptation. Talk of it already renewed for a second series with the highest budget for a show of theirs so far, so they are obviously confident.

There was one someone was trying to organise a few months back on Faceaids in a Weatherspoons. The thought of it made my skin crawl. Going by the responses the event had most people thought the same. Not sure if it actually happened or not. Kept in contact with most the people I was close friends with who are still in our hometown, still meet up for catch ups every few month's or when time / kids allow. Those friendships I really value as they have stood the test of time. Occasionally bump into other people since moving back in 2021. Wouldn’t go to an actual school reunion though, not a huge fan of looking back as life moves on. Plus it seems more of an American thing.

Watched this earlier in the week as it’s on Prime Video free to watch currently. Superb documentary. Brilliant doc, the Oreo story was funny as fuck. Also, Peter Weller shagging anything that moved back in his trailer and wanting to be called ‘Robo’ throughout the filming. Get on it while it’s on there.

Some of those kids need to go straight back in the line up. Embarrassing performance from some of the senior players.

Absolute shit show

Looks class doesn’t it Buzzed to see the NCR making an appearance. Tons of Easter eggs for fans of the games but it looks like a decent show in its own right, for people experiencing Fallout for the first time through this. Hopefully it’s as good as the trailer suggests. A bit gutted the whole series is dropping at once, but I’ll try and binge watch as much as possible come April 11th.

Dune: Part Two. 8/10 One hell of a well put together film and quite the spectacle at times. I did have the slight misfortune in that Dune is one of my favourite books, so it was hard to separate the two. I do like some of the different choices they made from the book and thought those choices worked well for the film. Amazing cinematography and score. Really good all round, the ending of the film did feel somewhat rushed though. Looking forward to seeing what they do with Dune Messiah as it sounds like that’ll be made. Fingers crossed they leave out the bit referencing Hitler though. Mrs Juniper, who’s not really into Sci Fi, nor knows anything about the books absolutely loved it.

‘The Space Shuttle That Fell to Earth’ is worth a watch, a comprehensive overview on what went wrong and incompetence from NASA around the 2004 Columbia disaster. 3 episode series is on BBC iPlayer as of recent days. Worth checking out.

Also, get on ‘Lover, Stalker, Killer’ on Netflix. Absolutely fucking bonkers. Actually had to check out to see if it was a true story.

Watched two docu-series the last week or so The Miners Strike: 1984 (Channel 4) Once Upon a Time in Northern Ireland (BBC) Both absolutely brilliant. Learned a lot about the horrors of both subject matters.

Talentless girl who acted for five minutes and released a couple songs 20 years ago, who’s since hit the jackpot marrying a billionaire. Fits the Tory mould. Talentless, privileged, absolutely out of touch but looks down on others all the same
