We've only 1 MP at present but I'd have no issue with the Greens going into a progressive coalition with Labour, the Libs, SNP, Plaid, Alliance, SDLP and Sinn Fein (not that they'd turn up) if it gets rid of these tory cunts. I've still never forgiven the Libs for the "coalition(c))", but that needs to be put aside for the sake of the population of this country!

I'd argue that they should be encouraged to support striking workers. But not my party anymore, so maybe I should keep my nose out.

Good point, it usually comes from the same people who won't join a union, but happily accept the pay rise usually negotiated by a union each year! Yeah, no arguments here mate. The TV coverage I've seen has been very biased towards the effect the strikes will have on the public, with next to fuck all on the effects that the changes being put forward by the government and rail services management will have on those losing their livelihood.

Shapps was on GMB earlier. I had to mute it before his bullshit drove me mental, but they gave him a fair whack of time to get his propaganda out there. I presume the rail union leaders will be afforded the same luxury?

It's not even just that mate. OK you bring ticket machines in, they're easy to use, and (suspend disbelief here) reliable and free from vandalism. What happens to the ticket office staff? Are they just expected to take redundancy or redeployment with a shrug? Are they just expected to take lower wages and not be concerned about paying for the basics? Any union that shrugs its shoulders and takes no action over job losses and the basic welfare of its members isn't doing its job!
