  1. Was there any talk of our current on-field predicament?
  2. He's had countless opportunities. Not a bad player, but will never make it at LFC. Needs to move on.
  3. I got slated by some for posting this thread. This isn't an 'I told you so' but I wonder how many would agree with the sentiment now, a handful of weeks on? If you were able to vote in the original poll, how many still want to give Roy time?
  4. We really need to step this up. As things currently stand, it looks like it will be Mill which will own LFC by the end of today.
  5. Is the property fully secured? ie boarded up?
  6. He's a pretentious old twat, too keen on the sound of his own voice.
  7. Would be interesting to see the average daily Post Count of a private worker vs public on this and other forums...
  8. I'm not at all confident. Nearly guaranteed a poor performance, but don't think we'll lose. Most likely a draw, if not, a scrappy win.
  9. I avoid anybody who's a tightarse - can't be doing with the small mindedness of it all.
  10. It's honestly not as difficult as it sounds, and a good letting agent should take up most of the flack, but I would warn you that there are such people as I'd call 'professional tenants'. These parasites know every rule in the book, and can really do you over - the law is set up massively in the tenants favour rather than the landlords. BUT if you choose the right tenant you could have years of trouble free letting. In other words, don't jump in too quickly, and I would honestly insist on a guarantor as well as rental insurance (we use: Letting agent, landlord or tenant - Rentshield offer Insurance Services for Tenants, Landlords and Agents in the UK and Tenant Referencing Services to protect your investment property.).
  11. If you have a mortgage on the property you'll need to check the T&C's as they may not allow letting. If you do decide to let MAKE SURE THE TENANT HAS A GUARANTOR. I really can't stress this enough - if the tenant fcuks the place over, the guarantor is jointly liable and it's another avenue to retrieve any money's owed. It's better to not have a tenant than have a tenant without a guarantor IMO. 10% is a standard management charge, plus a finders fee of 10%+VAT of the initial lease, eg: a 6 month let at £500pcm would result in a £50 management fee per month (possibly +VAT), and a finders fee of £300+VAT. They'll do the references for you etc. Best of luck!
  12. I can already hear the replies to this, but if I were currently in charge at Liverpool I'd be putting Kenny on notice that he may be required to take the hot seat before Christmas time if results don't improve. Purslow and Broughton were 100% correct to not appoint Kenny as manager, as he does have a greater roll to play - he should be the man tasked with implementing The Liverpool Way through every level of the club - but we may soon need him more than ever. IF we were hit with a 9 point deduction due to entering administration things could get sticky, and performances like today, where 3 points should have been a certainty, could become very costly.
  13. Come on, lets keep this at the top of the page. Threads about Everton/Rafa/Radiohead can save for another day. Lets drive the fat bastard and his gormless son out of the building they're currently in, attempting to rape and pillage our club...

As you may be aware, Hicks is trying to refinance his debt to the Royal Bank of Scotland before October 6th so that he can continue his disastrous ownership of Liverpool Football Club. You are facing an energized, well-informed mass of Liverpool fans from around the world. We are tapped into a constant stream of information on the ownership situation. Every day, dozens of web forums buzz with the latest news. Protest marches, newspaper ads, boycotts and billboards are organized. Every move Hicks makes is scrutinized. And every associate of his is warned. Refinancing is our nightmare scenario. Anybody who helps Tom Hicks refinance will become our primary target. Just ask the Blackstone Group / GSO Capital Partners who received approximately 7,000 emails in the space of a few days from disgruntled Liverpool fans following refinancing talks with Hicks. They soon saw sense and ended negotiations with Hicks after Liverpool supporters bombarded them with emails and phone calls. The Sun Newspaper is another organisation who have felt the wrath of Liverpool fans following their disgraceful coverage of the Hillsborough Disaster in 1989. The boycott of the newspaper by Liverpool fans is said to have cost News International an estimated £10 million a year. If you join Tom Hicks in raping and pillaging Liverpool Football Club, then you will be making a very powerful enemy. Yours faithfully, KOP FAITHFUL

  16. Firstly, Apple's in-built firewall for some ridiculous reason is not switched 'On' when shipped. Go to: System Preferences -> Security -> Firewall to make sure you have it switched on, as it's all the security you're likely to need with the Mac. Other software: Transmission (for torrents): Transmission VLC media player (to play any media files): VideoLAN - VLC media player for Mac OS X Adium (for MSN/AIM/Skype): Adium - Download
  17. My preference: Reina Johnson, Carra, Agger, Konchesky Meireles, Lucas Maxi, Gerrard, Cole Torres I'm not Kuyt's biggest fan, but this is exactly the type of game you wish he was available. How I reckon Roy will line-up: Reina Johnson, Carra, Skrtel, Konchesky Cole, Poulsen, Lucas, Jovanovic Torres, Gerrard
