What specifically about Aldershot do you dislike? I used to live in North Camp, sandwiched between the wonderful towns of Farnborough and Aldershot.... If you don't like Aldershot, then surely the likes of Fleet, Camberley and Woking would be fairly high on your list as well? Assuming that your visit to Aldershot was more than a fleeting one...

It would appear that TalkTalk have been experiencing a few issues nationwide with service disruptions being investigated by their own engineers and BT engineers. The problems have been with both landlines and broadband services. I'd imagine most of this is/has been due to the recent weather conditions. Here's a link to the outages page provided by TalkTalk. May be worth a look, and possibly dropping them a line if you continue to receive a degraded service.

Yes, you should defrag once every month or so, and run a disk cleanup every week or so. You may also have to increase the size of your paging file if you still have issues after you have run a defrag and a cleanup. This is easy enough to do: If your using Vista, which I assume you will be due to the age of the computer, then you'll need to right click on Computer, then select Properties. Select Advanced System Settings from the task list. In the System Properties window, select Advanced. Then select Settings in the performance pane. You'll now be in the Performance Options window, again, select the advanced tab, half way down the window, you should see the Virtual Memory pane and the Change option, select this. The Virtual Memory window will show the minimum paging file size, the recommended and the current size. If your current file size is less than the recommended, you can change this by unselecting the Auto manage option at the top of the pane. Once you've unselected the Auto Manage option, click the custom radio button and enter your recommended paging file size into the initial size option, and then double the recommended for the max paging file size option directly below. Once you've done that, OK back to the desktop. These actions will kick in after at least one reboot, though you don't need to reboot straight away. Any problems, just shout.

When was the last time you defragged the hard drive or performed a cleanup? What applications do you run whilst you experience the IE crashes? Have you experienced the same problem whilst using another browser? Firefox or Chrome for example.

You've possibly seen it already, but you can tell your PS3 how it is connected to the net, either via WiFi or ethernet cable. Go to Network Settings and check what it thinks it is connected to, and then run through the process of creating a "new" network connection, only takes a few moments to do. The only times I've come across the issue mention regarding being timed out of PSN is when there has been maintenance taking place. If you still get issues with connections, then jump on the PSN Forums, the FAQ's and help in there is pretty good to be honest, and there is usually a techy or 2 floating around online. The forums are handy for seeing when scheduled maintenance is due for PSN.

Just finished the demo, visually stunning game. Have to agree about the OTT finishing moves, the big dragon thing that eats your enemies is great though. This is the sort of game that I'm normally really really really shit at, but found it quite enjoyable, for the limited time you get in the demo at least.

Anyone know if they are playing tonight? I was under the impression that they were supposed to be playing the Mancs away this evening. The fixture list on the offal says no game tonight, but the TV channel guide has full highlights of this evenings game on at 22:00. Confused, very much so.

Mascherano is still suspended so can't play, even if he is fit now, which I doubt. Time for the team to man up and put in a performance, because everyone knows what Stoke are about, and they won't give us a minutes break from pumping long balls into our box, or playing for set pieces around the penalty area.

I'd imagine that the game will have to be played by no later than the 30th, as has been the case in previous rounds of the youth cup. The FA have probably just stuck the fixtures on for the 30th because it's the dealine day. There will probably be an official arrangement once we find out who our opponents will be.

The ticker on the Beeb says that the club are confident the game will go ahead unless there is significant snow.
