If it's ephedrine, loads of weight loss drinks, tablets and powders in the US contained it until a couple of years ago. The death of a (baseball?) player led to a change and now it has been replaced by 'herbal' supplements. Which don't work. Or give you any sort of buzz. I don't know anything about the case, but it probably would have been very easy to get a sports drink or weight loss pill in the US containing a banned substance during the 94 world cup.

Hamann has been a great servant. However, he is not getting any better and looked very tired at times last season whenever asked to play a series of games. Rafa is doing the right thing. Hamann will not play much next season, that is obvious, and the squad position and wages can be used to move forward as they should be. I am glad he is showing the necessary common sense. Perhaps we are back to moving players on just as their legs fail, rather than watching great players get progressively worse?
