  1. I threw a full can of lager at Cantona in that Cup Final, does that count ? Was watching it on telly mind. :wallbutt:
  2. You fucking knob. They wear the red shirt - they get 100% support. Fuck off and support the Chavs - you have about as much class as them.
  3. Don't agree with that at all. His passing and possession wasn't the best yesterday, but there was a reason for that. Our defence, was at times, shambolic. This was often caused By Stevie Warnock's poor positioning and the weather and pitch conditions. Due to this our central midfield was often too deep and under a lot of pressure from the opposition. There was next to no link up play between our midfield and attack which allowed them to try to push through the midfield time and time again. Sissoko did brilliantly in breaking that up. Its also hard to appreciate, if you were watching from home, the wind and weather conditions and the ridiculous state of the pitch, which together killed off most of our passing game. It was a poor team performance. Very unfair on Sissoko though. I would agree it again underlined our need for a right winget to get Stevie G into the middle more, when we need/want to.
  4. I wonder if whats happened has been the same as with Vidic and Sabrosa; other team try to up the fee Rafa leaves it to the player to create the necessary unrest to make it happen, if he wants to come here enough. It sounds like Victor is doing that so maybe we will see him here today after all.
  5. He was a main player in Real Madrids great La Liga winning side of '97. He's been a main player for Deportiva for years who have been a 'top four' side consistently. He's been at or near the top of the charts for number of assists a season and chips in with his share of goals. Big teams have been consistently in for him year after year but Deportiva would never let him go. Most importantly, Rafa has been consistently after him since he arrived at LFC, (but it didnt make the tabloids so he must be shit I guess ? ) so thats good enough for me.
  6. Rumour is shares in Kleenex have gone up 20%.
  7. Give Rash all the shit you want mate, but you're going a bit far there.
  8. To be fair Rashid has a point. When the club were travelling to Japan in December, they got to the airport and he came out with, 'I ain't gettin on no plane fool.' Carra knocked him out with a swift left and when he woke up they were in Japan , so no harm done.
  9. From Anny Road on YNWA who knows Ste Jordan : Gary Neville says to Ste Jordan at full time, 'You'll get done for tackling like that' "yeah yeah...look at the scoreboard...3-1 d****ead" was Mr Jordans reply Also as the players were going to the dressing room, a couple of United players were outside there dressing room arguing....Smith and Silvestre....>As Fowler branches off to go to the home dressing room....Robbie shouted "And yer gonna get battered next week too"
  10. Agree totally. Biggest bellend to have played for us now in the media spotlight.
  11. Doesnt the African Nations thing overlap this so he would be away anyways ???
  12. Breaking Keanes ankle, thus brining his Scum career to a premature end says different
  13. Arrogance, lack of respect where it is deserved, lack of grace and of small wit. Maureen is everything Taggart was and worse. The similar bad tempered responses from the players when they cant impose what they want on the opposition - no matter what they say it hurt them like fuck to not come top of the group. All Maureen is short of now is a whisky nose.
  14. Its ignoring the fact that Betis are prety much guaranteed 6 points from Anderlecht and were better than you are putting forward, given that they beat Chelsea. If they'd won against us home or away they would be through and we would go to Chelsea needing a win. Keep spouting bollocks though; bottom line is we are top of what looked like a tough group having conceded one goal in five games. Well played Red men.
  15. Think I am right in saying Vlad had hardly ever been injured before he joined us - the curse in action. He was another of Geds buys that he consistently tried to play out of position. If we had always played him in the hole / behind the striker we'd all have a very different opinion of him. One of a very few players who will go on to play and do better for other clubs than he has for LFC. On the bright side what a last appearance; he went out a legend. YNWA Vlad.
  16. The photo in the original post is actually the half time team talk. Carra : 'I dont give a flying fuck if we're 3-0 down, lets fucking av 'em.'
  17. Best article I've read in a long, long time.
  18. I could never, EVER, want the Mancs to win a game, even if it involved some dodgy Sicilian laying so much money on them that I'd get my nads cut off if they didnt. However I detest Chelski nearly as much. Even a draw is more than Id like to see either of them get. First game that is win-win and lose-lose I can remember, though I could never not enjoy watching the Mancs get stuffed. Wish-list : Mancs get stuffed 6-0 and Fat Frank gets a taste of his own medicine and gets his ankle broken.
  19. Is it just me ? How does that fat **** Lampard get away with so many dangerous tackles and fouls. Every game I've ever watched him in he gets close to breaking someones ankle. He hardly ever gets booked for it. Well beyond a joke.
  20. Top post. Regardless of whether optimism is called for or not (and I very much think it is) I'm fucking sick of the glory chasing fanboi twats going on about players who aren't wearing the shirt YES THAT INCLUDES MICHAEL FUCKING OWEN instead of getting behind and supporting the lads who are. Come on you red men.
  21. Warnock was awful yesterday. If Djimi had put in a performance like that he'd be written off for good. Actually, after his OG last term he was by a lot of folk. I'm not knocking Warnock, everyone can have an off day.
  22. Yeah Jol is doing well for Spurs. Have a feeling Pearce will be a good manager and go on to manage England.
  23. If it transpired that Mrs. Beckham was not averse to the occasional taking it up the wrong 'un would it still be wrong ?
  24. Most of the Geordie fans I've known have been decent folk; they've always stuck by their club through the bad times and the, err, not so bad times. Watched his reception in St. James and wondered how many of those no. 10 shirts will be getting burnt next summer when Owen moves on.
