  1. Uefa will report it. It'll be a slap on the risk like always. Doubt they will have to play close doors!
  2. He looks like a tough solid built fella. You can say he has the built of a great defender. Sol Campbell maybe! or a more tougher meaner version of Carra. Wishful thinking!
  3. I signed in 2002 and it was pretty good to have a read but i think all the wiser posters have left or just chat in the e-season !
  4. I DID! but just thought you guys should know haha! venting my fustration at them is pointless ! alot of them are a bunch of Twats!
  5. has to be General Discussion Message board on Liverpoolfc.tv God they are so fickle and just plain fucking stupid and fustrating! I remember when i first became a member it had some great posters but now its just a piece of shit but for some reason i cant stop myself from going there. And the fucking voting that take place is bullshit, Steven Gerrard seems to win every vote and the fucking stupidity just grows as time goes by. Please can someone feel the same pain I'm in!
  6. Wow everton has a very tough one. Watch Forlan Murder them ! lol I was getting scared when there was like Liverpool, Betis, Udinese and a few other teams left. Didn't fancy a trip to italy or spain to be honest but well nice draw and it'll be good to see the big guns in the group stages!
  7. The biggest thread is Real Betis! If Real Betis face Manchester Bucz, they might knock them out. One thing will lead to another! :D
  8. Now that they have signed Davids, they have just boosted their midfield although some suggestions that Davids isnt the player he use to be. However, with the capture of Van Der Meyde they can really add some width to their style of play. I know Van Der Meyde hasn't been quality for the past 2 seasons but I still remmeber his time at Ajax and he was full of potential, maybe he will find his form and fulfil his potential at Tottenham. Everton was after these two players but again look likely to miss out. Poor Everton LOL!
  9. I also can't believe that Igor did not win Cult hero. That is ultimately bullshit! Anything with Gerrard in it, he will win it if it were up to those mupets on those boards. I'm still a little suprised that there weren't enough fools to let Gerrard win MOTM poll against Olympiacos in the friendly.
  10. LOL Remmeber EVERTON! CMON IT'S EVERTON, look at their squad, In my oppinon none of their players would walk into any top 3/4 teams of england. I dont even see Tim Cahil (Voted Everton best player) would walk into any starting 11 of ManU Chelsea Arsenal and The European kings. But they defied all odds and sure showed all the punters, especially us. However, we out shined them and showed them, the pundits, London press and the rest of Europe the Champions League Crown.
  11. I do agree with you that IF they do sign Davids they would have a nice player in the team, he will be a good team leader to help Martin Jol guide the youngsters to success. However, if they were to be inconsistent it would be due to the fact that they have a young squad and inexperience players. The average age is 23 years. One summer signing that I was fairly impressed with was Routledge, he was quick, skilful and reminded me of Richardson and a little of Wright Philips. And honestly, in Kanoute, Defoe, Mido & Keane they have a strike force that can match our very own.
  12. Who I think is about to wake up. They have a good coach in Martin Jol who is trying to give them a dutch flavour, they have a nice squad who is quick, young and enthusiastic. I watched them play against Lyon and remmeber Lyon are no push overs and have a very talented squad although they were missing their playmaker in Juninho. They are a threat that should not be taken lightly. Their moving off and on the ball is quite flowing and to tell you the truth they have a very entertaining style. What do you guys reconned?
  13. I knew Barton had a temper problem but I had no idea how bad it was. You don't expect that from any professional not even Wayne Rooney, especially towards a 15 YEAR OLD. But similar incidents have happened so many times before you just dont know what to expect these days. p.s Thanks for that Paul.
  14. In my oppinon he should, but i think Nando should try to make more runs and try to create more room for himself. Easier said and done when you have 10 men standing behind the ball LOL. TNS! Hope he comes out good. Wouldn't mind seeing him repeat the goals he scored against Charlton and Fulham against Chelsea, Man utd & Everton !
  15. I don't think you will see much of Crouch and Nando playing alongside eachother. Unless there was a injury crisis in our attacking department. Benitez wants a balanced team on the field and those two out-and-out strikers is not a balanced team.
  16. In my honest oppinon, Rafa rates Pongolle highly and has plans for him in the future. However, if I was to be wrong and he was sold in the age of under 22 I will be uterly dissapointed.
  17. Retire the number 25 shirt for him! lol I met this fella twice and he was an amazing fella to talk to. I'm going to get my kit with IGOR on the back of it. Through my eyes he was a legend, sadly wasn't used to his full potential when a certain french men was in charge and unfairly used as a scape goat by the frenchmen and a few fans 2 seasons ago.
  18. LOL Class! IGOOOOORRRR IGGGGOOOOOR IGGGOOOORRR
  19. Isn't Helbs playing in the attacking midfield position, so maybe that is his replacement that they bought for 10 million pounds was it. Or is Helbs a replacement for Pires, SWP is a good shout though, wasnt it rumoured that they had like 25million to spend plus the 13 million, they can have a go for SWP. SWP will choose Arsenal over any other PL team, including us due to his father.
  20. 6 nil to the redmen! 2nd leg it will be 2 - 1 to the redmen.
  21. Ok, I'm not Rafa the Gafa and i totally agree with most fans if not 100percent of the Liverpool fans that Crouch is not worth 8million pounds and not even close to 6million pounds in my eyes. However, I think Rafa sees that we have one out and out striker in Mori and 3 Forwards who runs at the defence within Cisse, Baros & Pongolle (who i think Rafa rates highly), in my oppinon Rafa sees these options as an inbalance to the team. Now because he doesnt rate Baros and sees that Pongolle will become a better striker than Baros, he choses to sell Baros to get Crouch. Crouch is an Out and Out striker who is always in the box waiting for the tap ins and headers like Mori. So with 2 out and out strikers and 2 Forwards, Rafa sees this as more of a balanced team. Rafa is always talking about the right formula to success apart from the mentality and such is the balance of a team. Now i will doubt very much that you will get Cisse and Pongolle in the starting 11 with eachother, and if we do get Crouch, Rafa will usually start off Cisse with Mori. And if Cisse gets injured it would be Pongolle replacing him to keep the balance of the team, same thing with Mori if he was to get injured, it would be Crouch replacing him to again keep the balance. Well that is my theory, Rafa always wants one out and out and one forward, it would be strange to see both Mori and Crouch starting off unless both Pongolle and Cisse is injured.
  22. Did he even mention that we conceded 3 goals with the defence of Zak and Josemi (who is a natural right fullback). What a git! That is what you call a bitter bluenose.
