Booked onto a Wharton Travel day trip for €899 - no choice as I'm short of holidays. On me own though, anyone else booked on this by any chance?

The fact that we're at least in the final of the Champions League will have a huge bearing on summer signings. There's no reason why we can't attract the very best, money permitting of course. For example, if you were Roberto Carlos, Juaquin, Fernando Torres or Pablo Aimar watching last night's match and that atmosphere, where would you rather go? It's a no brainer really.

Does that include match ticket? Pretty steep. Unique situation though.

Only one non Houllier era player started tonight - Garcia. Dudek, Traore, Finnan, Hyppia, Hamann, Biscan, Baros, Riise - all Houllier signings, and Gerrard and Carra Houllier regulars. Even subs Kewell and Cisse were Ged deals. Rafa's a legend, but Gerard was too in his own way and did huge things for the club, bringing in a culture of teamwork being probably his biggest achievement after the horrible 1990s. I'm sure he's as made up as any of us tonight. He should feel very proud.

Thought he was great last night, especially in the second half. For me, he was better than Gerrard and Alonso in what he did. Got a great reception coming off too. He's on a yellow now...maybe we should rest him for final? :thumbup:

Did anyone apply on the UEFA site for the lottery for final tickets? Saw on another forum that some people have had the money taken out of their credit card account over the weekend from a Turkish Ticketmaster type company. Nothing withdrawn from my account and no e-mail confirming or saying otherwise. Anyone have any luck?

'Atlantic City' from the album 'Nebraska' The album is sparse, just Bruce and an acoustic guitar but it still rocks like a bastard. From around 1982, it's his best album IMHO. And this is the best song on it.
