  1. I'm also getting lots of issues with the menu links, in particular... News, Match Reports, Players and TLW looking at the links in more detail it seems that the addresses with the issue all start with http://www.liverpoolway.co.uk/forum/... whereas those with http://www.liverpoolway.co.uk/index.php?/... appear to work fine. Hope this helps.
  2. Probably going to be FK Gomel as they are 2-0 after the first leg and yet to play at home. Interesting looking stadium
  3. I really wish he had, however I guess it's not true. Found a good article today which says it all really... Xabi Alonso (Liverpool and England)… I wish – Telegraph Blogs
  4. I'm not saying we will win the league, however other teams should look at this result and take heart that they are not as good as they (and the media) believe.
  5. Apparently the linesman saw the foul on Yossi so the FA could not do anything. How the f@#k can a linesman see that incident and not only ignore it but also give a free kick to Chelsea? He should be dropped from the referee list for that decision!!!!
  6. I've just remembered that Deepdale Retail Park is nearby so it maybe possible to park there and walk to the ground. I will have to play it by ear for the best places to have a drink. Cheers guys.
  7. I am driving to the game on Saturday and was wondering where's best to park, go for a drink etc. Any ideas? I've tried looking on the PNE website but there does not seem to be much information for away fans. Not like I was expecting there to be.
  8. Good job he did as he set up our winner.
  9. We have our own to keep remember
  10. I remember that one, almost pissed myself  Did anyone see the warm up on Sunday when Carra was doing that side to side jockying on the touchline and fell over? He then waved at the Kop before getting back to his feet, Xabi was cracking up big style!
  11. Can't see anything, has it been removed?
  12. Not like i can remember a great deal of the game (I was high as a kite on adrenalin) but I do remember one Arsenal corner where we did both zonal and man marking. Did any of the pundits/commentators notice that? I am a fan of the zonal marking system, however I was pleased to see Rafa mixing it up to counteract Arsenal's obvious threat and ability to find space at set pieces. No doubt no one gave him credit for it, in fact they would probably use it to knock zonal marking. On a seperate note, it makes me laugh when ingerland supporters and the media bleat on how we should be good enough to qualify for major tournaments, while trying their best to prevent any manager from using a formation or tactic other than "what we have always done".
  13. I'm delighted they have highlighted it, about time really! The blueshite are just a bunch of sick and discusting c#@ts, especially the two knobheads who spat on my car windscreen while I was waiting to leave the carpark! Twats the lot of them! :telloff:
  14. Told you. I fucking hate being right :(
  15. I was feeling confident about Sunday's game, however I have just heard on SSN that Steve Bennett has been selected as the ref. :(
  16. My all time favourite was when Kezman said that he was not bothered about the atmosphere at Anfield just before the 2005 European Cup Semi-Final... I also remember seeing the fear in his eyes  when he jogged along the touchline towards the Kop to warm up.
  17. That is maybe true, but then again £10m won't buy you the level of player we need. He has been given £25m to buy a player once, and he got Torres. He needs a couple more of these types of signing before we can even think about winning the league.
  18. Bentiez won the EUROPEAN CUP, Nuff said!!! If anyone actually thought that even with a manager that has won the league on a low budget in another country, the same could be done in this country then they were seriously deluded. In this league you need MASSIVE investment in players, maybe 15 -20 years ago a serious challenge could be made on a lower budget but now it is impossible. In the modern game you can't expect any player to play in every game. That is why we need a higher number of match winners so that when we do REST players we have equivalent quality to replace them with. Just like when the Mancs rested Tevez the other night, they still had Rooney. If Crouch was trying as hard as he should then he has the quality (even on an off day) to do better than he did. Don't get me wrong, I like Crouch and think he is a very good player but his attitude last week was a disgrace, and he was not the only one. I suggest reading DaveU's match report for someone else's thought on Crouch's performance last week.
  19. There is no one else. Hence my previous remark about more resources. To be fair to Kuyt though, at least he gives a shit.
  20. Not better managers, just more time and/or more resources. As for who is rotated, unless I am completely wrong Reina, Carra, Gerrard & Torres will start in most of the games. It is the other players that are "rotated". I have also noticed plenty of people on here talking about Crouch and Babel's ommision mid week as an excuse to have a go at the manager. All I can say to that is look at their performances against Havant & Waterlooville, especially Crouch who just could not be bothered and wasn't interested. Neither of those players deserved to play against West Ham IMO.
  21. I agree, the other 3 clubs in the "Big 4" rotate their players as much as we do. It is just the stick that people use to beat Benitez with. If it is not that then they will use Zonal Marking or Gerrard not being utilised properly. I personally believe that the other 3 teams have more match winning players than we do. We have 2 whereas the Mancs have at least 5. That is the difference (along with the obvious lack of confidence). Remember that we have only lost 3 matches this season (the same as the Mancs), we just don't have the number of world class players to turn some of the draws into wins. We need investment to purchase this level of player.
  22. Totally agree with you nickcross. A stable club with a fully supported Benitez at the helm will (I believe) finally bring number 19.
