Died today, Former Sudley Junior School pupil Lt Cdr Ian Fraser, who lived in Wallasey, was a lieutenant in the Royal Naval Reserve in World War II. He was awarded the Victoria Cross for his courageous actions in Singapore when he guided his midget submarine through mined waters to sabotage the Japanese vessel Takeo. Believe he was a very humble man who turned down numerous invitations to talk about his role in the war and constatntly played it down, like most VC winners. Gave everything for his country, something these scally gobshites could do well to remember when calling themselves soldiers.

Whoa there SKI, not all of us are over 50 and fat, you obviously picked the wrong day as i must have been off, although i will agree that there is a myth that all FF's are bronzed adonis's, whilst some of us are of course :whistle: most are just normal blokes who are no different from anyone else. My missus laughs when her mates say all FF's are gorgeous, she wants to know where she went wrong with me, cheeky mare.

I know this has been done before and probably isn't relevant but i was speaking to me arl fella yesterday and we were discussing the current situation and what would happen if Rafa walked. So IF and it's a bloody big one, Rafa were to leave or god forbid be sacked, who is available to step in at this time and become manager, we really struggled to come up with anyone at this early stage of the season or in the future, in the end we didn't come up with anyone who would fit the bill. So who would it be......
