    3 times I've watched his interview and am getting more frustrated about one eyed views. 'we totally dominated the game'. Second half yes they had good chances and we held on.     On ESPN now. We were a good side then. Lots of pace. But it was great to see the belief from the defence that they could soak up all utd could throw at us. And Dudek was very good then! If we can re-find that defensive base we have the pace to build on it. Width and pace - love it! Had a few mates round that day and set up a big screen. The manc lads got restricted views through the door to the hall! When Owen scored the second my best mate (a manc) almost twatted my oh so shy 13 year old. The icing on the cake?     Today was really fustrating. There are poor refs alright but the pillock today drove me mad because he was so inconsistent. Nudge in the back he blows, next time he doesn't. The challenge on Kelly for the goal no foul then numerous stupid calls for barely anything!!! How can players deal with this type of official!

    always gonna be utd but for fucks sake were they watching. Had to be hgiggs or evra. For us the back four, lucas, and the subs total credit to our team and how nice it is to feel proud again. The players played with freedom and thought. Now a couple more bits of class and we are right back there!

    Got to be in cardiff 2001 for the league cup and my lad got to see us win a trophy for the first time. He finally understood what all the fuss was about. For that forever thank you Ged. I would sing his name loud and long just as we did in the home leg against Roma just before cardiff. Great week. Great year and vety much the start of the road to number 5!

    1. Gerrard - for me he was imense forget the hatrick cameo - he was the glue today and put his foot in from ball one. 2. Lucas was excellent and showed real quality 3. Torres - just fell in love all over again :-) Hon mention carra, kelly, pepe, skrtel, kuyt to be honest we had 4 mom and 4 seconds Konch worries me and Maxi is a diving fuck (was a pen but the way he went down late cost him the pen) who put in a shift, as did Raul. Breilliant performance of two halves - wanna see two halves like the first from now on!!

Jovo looked good going forward against Napoli but had to come off because he was not a center midfielder!!!! At least this line up would give the opposition something to think about. I very much like Raul and believe he has as much talent as Alonso and Xavi and SG didn't struggle because no-one was holding!
