  1. I don’t think I ever said I just dislike him. If I ever have said that I dislike him, I’m fairly sure that it’s in the context of his professional leadership. I could be wrong, but it’s not how I feel about him on a personal level. He’s a fairly old fella who could grow a cracking marrow. Honesty, if he wasn’t the leader of the opposition, nobody would give a single shit about him. For me, people seem to have to take a side. Pro-Corbyn or anti-Corbyn. He’s either the second coming or he’s Hitler’s livechild he’ll bend in destroying everything. It is becoming about Corbyn when it shouldn’t be about him, it should be about the policies and the ability to win elections to get those policies into place. I don’t mind most of his policies, but I do mind that I don’t think he can win. One thing is for sure, I don’t just dislike him for the sake of it. I dislike the job he is doing.
  2. There is no 'just don't like him' as if I'm some halfwitted idiot that just swallows and regurgitates the Murdoch media. I think you probably know me better than that by now. There are some reasons why I don't think he's a good leader and shouldn't be leader of the Labour Party, but the main and most important one is that I don't think he can win an election in order to make his agenda a reality. I want somebody, from the left or centre left, who can put in place a series of policies to make the country a better place, especially for those who need help the most. I don't think Corbyn can achieve that, regardless of whether or not I like him on a personal level or not - and he seems perfectly fine as a human being to me, but professionally I think he's pretty bad. We can, for all the good it will do, point fingers at the bad men who throw shit at him, but what will it achieve. It won't achieve the agenda being put into place. Being in power is everything if you want to get things done. Jesus himself could come down from heaven and promise to fart rainbows into our bank accounts, but if he doesn't win an election it doesn't mean a fuckin' thing. Leaving aside whether or not the 'hard left' moniker is accurately attributed to him, I think it's probably fair to jump to the wild conclusion that you hate him, based off of your comments regarding antisemitism during the 'English humour' debacle, his association with terrorists, etc. If you're going to both portray him as an antisemitic terrorist associate, and yourself as a near perfect bastion of virtue, it would surely be fair to assume you dislike him because of those things. I seem to be in this strange position where the centrists or centre rights are saying I like him and defend him and the lefties say I hate him. I think I'm one of the few people with some objectivity around the guy. I just want the Tories out. You guys can argue over Corbyn all you like, I honestly am ambivalent about him as a person.
  3. Just for clarity, as I was in the quoted text you replied to, I haven't said any of this and they don't have anything to do with me, my opinions, nor the giant corporate entity that feeds my opinions.
  4. I think having a military background would likely help protect him from a certain amount of criticism. That would certainly be a bonus for him. I've not seen a great amount from him recently. I assume he'd be one of a handful to run though.
  5. The rest of your nonsense washed over me because I just don't respect you enough to give a shit about your opinion of me, but the fact you keep on about this is pretty funny. I do love the way you address the forum about whether or not to listen to me. I would be curious to see who people - even the ones here who don't like me - think is more credible out of the two of us. But whatever, don't let me stop you from banging on about my heritage in the same way you spoke about a member of my family getting banged by gypos doing my driveway. Do carry on.
  6. This is both scraping the bottom of the barrel of political discourse and, strangely, way better than the normal arse gravy you serve up. Good job.
  7. I think that's a fair point. He certainly has raised the amount of subs to the Labour movement, if the figures I've seen are correct. That said, recently there's been a hefty drop off, so that can't be ignored either.
  8. He looks absolutely fucked to me. Physically he looks drained, his face is a particular give away, his slouched shoulders too. But he seems mentally much slower now than he has been. His ability to think on his feet and getting irritable very easily. For clarity, I don’t mean literally his arms and legs are coming off. I mean he looks shagged.
  9. Murdoch? I don’t care (or know) what he or his mouth pieces say or think. I just judged on what I saw from him. So my observation of reality seems to differ from yours. It has nothing to do with my indoctrination from Murdoch though.
  10. I laughed for at least 30 seconds at that. He’s fucking falling apart, the poor fucker. He obviously cares a lot but it’s destroying him. As for the interview, he’s just shitty at leading. Total lack of coherent vision and leadership. It’s a complex issue, I get it. But fucking hell, the fence sitting is backfiring spectacularly.
  11. No idea, mate. I have a hunch that we probably stuck our head around the door and asked, only for is to slink off down the corridor laughing at the price they'd want. Who knows though.
  12. Yeah, got a crazy fee for him. If they want a crazy fee, we shouldn’t pay it. Buy Werner. HTH
  13. It shouldn't, but it still surprises me that people don't actually understand the difference between what left and right are or even what the term means. Holding up the likes of Athiesm and pro-choice as proof of their non-rightist views is fucking funny, ignorant, and indicative of somebody who listens to way too many American podcasts.
  14. That’s because there’s no such thing.
  15. It’s the amount of lipstick you wear that worries me.
  16. Hold on, I thought it was only freedom loving right-wingers they were banning, not commies like you?
  17. Look at the way he's holding that Magnum. Like a fucking glass of champagne.
