Not sure he's fit enough or robust enough to play that anymore.

Are you saying the forward line of Lambert, Balotelli, Borini and Sturridge wouldn't have had the same impact as Messi?
-
Absolutely nothing, as I was saying to Suarez the other day, "without this making stuff up shit, you and I would never have met..."

Great report and agree that Bradley was our MoM. Is it just me or does he remind you of a young Gerrard in the way he moves around the pitch? We seem to be specialising in right backs that would make great midfielders! -
Why not have the Tennis and Cricket systems where the teams have a limited number of challenges? Take it out of the refs hands completely.

Whenever you're feeling down, there's always Everton.

New third for next season apparently. https://www.footyheadlines.com/2023/10/liverpool-24-25-third-kit.html

Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Quansah, Gomez, Gravenberch, Endo, Elliott, Salah, Gakpo, Nunez. -
I started getting tops a few years later, thinking about getting the white one from our friends in China.

I agree!

I'd agree with that except maybe Riise in place of Bjornebye.

David Ornstein apparently tapped his nose and uttered "we're playing the long game chaps..."

It can't be good to give a contract to a young player that basically covers him for the majority of his career. Of course there will be individuals who will be driven to succeed no matter what they receive as financial reward, but not sure how many are currently sitting in the Chelsea dressing room.

Agree with most of that but not sure that they were battered by United. I think they were unlucky to lose that but not going to comment on United's form until after the game finishes on Sunday!

Depends on how long he wants to stay at Liverpool. I can see that in a couple of years a last massive payout would be good for him and the club. Regardless, he's cemented his place as a legend will be this generations' Hunt or Rush. -
For the experiences he's had, the places he's been...he's still a deeply dull man.

Michael Owen being weird is not a new story though is it? Perhaps he got confused as that brochure he produced is definitely something Brendan would come up with. -

I know Doctor Who is back on TV so maybe that explains the time travelling between the dates in the title and the week that was? -

This, his (and most) punditry seems to change on a weekly basis based on the last game they watched. Stealing a living! -

I gave up at half time, took the dog out for a walk and tried to ignore the updates. If this is how football is going to be in future with cheating on an industrial scale off the pitch and cheating on it, count me out in future. Who wants to be part of a sport where you enter the season knowing you have to sprint every second and still not win, where your opponents waste so much time and are never punished for it. On a positive note, the new kit looks nice.
