Each series seems to be roughly based on 2 books at a time, so at least another 3 possibly. I liked what the series did with Hild's character. In the book she's younger but was gang raped by the Danes before Uthred rescued her. It was tough enough to watch poor Ethaflaed get raped on her wedding night so I'm glad they reduced Hild's suffering.

I like Vikings too but I think this is more realistic. The main character is fictional but nearly all the other characters existed. Season 2 has been excellent but they're only skimming the books. Cornwall is a fantastic writer, his King Arthur trilogy is still probably the best fiction I have ever read.

The books are fantastic and the TV series is getting better and better.
