Rumours about Van Dijk injured. Hope fucking not. -
Firing someone on those grounds should actually have consequences for his employers. Ridiculous and cowardly from Mike Riley’s bunch of spineless buffoons.

Excellent. Happy to be wrong.

Keita will cost us. Really hope I’m wrong.

That Mooy at Brighton has an uncanny resemblance to Howard Webb. #allbaldiesarealike

Excellent report, not least because they are my thoughts exactly... We should have enough clout to -at least informally- demand that Atkinson is kept well away from our games. It’s reached a point where his actions are no longer merely suspicious. The not awarded penalty for Keita was the action of a ref who had pretty much decided on not giving us anything, for whatever reason. And he has certainly continued in the same vein this season.

I actually think we should formally ask for Martin Atkinson to be banned from our games. Yeah, I know, Everton-behaviour and all that, but tonight he surely knew exactly what he was doing fuckng us over. You could see he communicated something to the Brighton-player just before blowing the whistle, with Adrian all over in the corner. There’s no way an unbiased ref would behave like that. -

I actually like all our players, and, yes, that includes Lallana, Lovren and certainly Henderson, but I just can’t seem to warm to Keita. He actually irritates me to the extent that he might just as well play for an opponent team. I guess most of that is due to disappointment, as I was so certain he would be absolutely ace based on what I saw of him in Germany.

Jon Moss. -
As alluded to earlier, this deal is about strengthening our foothold in Asia. Long term, it probably makes financial sense, even if the sums seem underwhelming now. Personally, I find it a bit unsavoury, and feel we could have handled things with New Balance a bit better.
-
From what I can gather after talking to several people in sports retail, it will actually be fewer outlets for Liverpool Nike kits in western Europe than under New Balance. The biggest increase will be in Asia.

Is that Derek Jacoby?

Milner, Elliott, Kelleher. -
Milner and possibly Gomez the only senior players to come from this with any honour. I’ve never really had anything against Lovren, but he’s been atrocious. Lallana much too pedestrian and loosing the ball too easily. The best I can say of Keita is that he has not injured himself. Ox should do - and be - better.
-
Bit surprised Ki-Jana Hoever is not in the squad, neither a- or b-list. Hope it’s not an augur of trouble brewing. He seems versatile - and talented - enough to warrant inclusion.
-
He was clearly clipped at least two times. That can not under any circumstance be called a dive. He also jumped up without asking for a penalty before the goal had been scored. This is all on Friend.
-
I really liked how Milner noticed what was happening with Mané and changed seats to get next to him to calm him down. I also think that without Firmino’s social skills, we would struggle to keep the same unity in the squad.

Is it just me, or did Hodgson look gutted when Palace scored?

I think this season finally made me realize that Stranger Things is a children’s show. Three first episodes are just one music video after another, interaction between «the kids» cringeworthy and the themes we’re supposed to care about are just very immature and infantile. Entertainment value bit better towards the last few episodes, though.

That Kouyatè really is quite bad, or just doesn’t’ bother at all. He makes making no effort seem effortless.

Hendo really turned it around for us. Firmino did so many important clearances and showed great vision to play Hendo on goal.
