  1. Don’t know which is our worse loss of points. Against Luton or Ten Hag’s boys. I’d say Luton put up more of a fight.
  2. Endo, Harvey and Curtis star men. Thought Gakpo was poor, even if his goal was well taken.
  3. Gakpo. Well... to call that performance abysmal, is an insult to any self respecting abyss.
  4. Endo been very good. Always an outlet. Trent has been strolling about like on a sunday walk, seemingly in some kind of haze. Gravenberch has also been quite bad in the second half.
  5. Excellent ending, with the Truman Show allusion. However, it bears pointing out, you don’t have to be Nostradamus to pick out Richarlison and Antony as wrong ‘uns. Antony stood out as all manner of uncouth troglodyte already at Ajax.
  6. Endo was quite good today, I felt. And I may have to hold my hands up on Gravenberch and admit he is much better than I thought/feared.
  7. So nice to be able to watch pretty much the whole game without being nervous all the time. A big part of that is, I guess, that you never feel the ref is out to get us. Sure, he makes mistakes, but that is all they are. In the premier league, you feel as if the hammer will fall on us at any moment, with intent.
  8. Where Eagles Dare. Krull. Saturn 3. Neverending Story. Kelly’s Heroes. Star Wars: A New Hope.
  9. Great, that! I almost couldn’t get through the report, though, as I felt myself getting absolutely furious all over again. On the day, as Matip scored the OG, I just hammered my fists into the table, turned off the telly and walked out into the pouring rain to try to calm down, so luckily I didn’t witness the Spurs celebrations. My only concern now, is that we will be in a full blown war with the PGMOL. Well, so fucking be it.
  10. I vote that yesterday’s result in our «game» will be stricken from the records and deemed null and void…
  11. Salah was great, but, for once, he looked visibly exhausted in the minutes before he was subbed, so I certainly understand the decision.
  12. Simon Hooper on Wikipedia; he’s had a fantastic start to this season: Career On 14 August 2023, Hooper was the referee for a Premier League match featuring Manchester Unitedv Wolves, a game which ended in a 1-0 win for the hosts. In extra time, United goalkeeper Andre Onana collided with Wolves forward Sasa Kalajdzic in the penalty area. Despite protests from players, Hooper did not award Wolves a penalty and VAR did not intervene on the decision. After the game, PGMOL apologized to Wolves manager Gary O'Neil for the error, admitting that a penalty should have been given. Hooper and two VAR officials were subsequently dropped from refereeing for the following Premier League weekend fixtures.[4][5][6] On 30 September 2023, Hooper was the referee for a Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool, a game which resulted in a 2-1 victory for Spurs. Luis Diaz had a goal ruled out for offside by the linesman, the decision was not intervened by VAR, despite no lines being drawn.[7]After the match, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp insisted the goal was not offside, and PGMOL released a statement admitting that this was a "significant human error" and the "VAR failed to intervene."[8] PGMOL is currently conducting a review of the circumstances which led to the error.
  13. Imagine how much time they will add if Spurs hasn’t scored yet… 20 mins?
  14. I’ve probably seen Lebowski more than ten times. Some of the times I’ve thought it sensational, other times so-so. It’s one if those films that depend a bit on your mood, or even where you are in life, to appreciate it. Always entertaining, though, which, I guess, is why I keep coming back to it. Barton Fink and O Brother are «better».
  15. Aimee Mann in The Big Lebowski. However, the best - or at least most impressive - must be Sinatra, Kris Kristofferson, Bowie and Dwight Yoakam.
  16. Such a relief to watch a game without fearing that the ref any second is about to fuck us a place we don’t want to be fucked. And Matip was immense.
  17. And if it hadn’t been for his pretty exemplary record, he would’ve gotten even one more game and an extra 50.000 fine…
  18. Jota must have been pissed about starting on the bench, as that «performance» must have been some kind of protest
  19. Is it me, or does that blade seem very dull? The metal looks to be of poor quality as well, and the attempt at sharpening a botch job. Very disappointed, you’d think he’d put more pride in his tool.
  20. Yes. That is what I mean by a change in conditions. However, when was the last time we bought a sub, a pretty entrenched sub, as it were, and he went on to be a success?
