  1. Open Fm Genie Scout. Selects midfield, chooses age range 15-21, organises list of potential ability (PA) copies and pastes list until he gets to Elliot. Fuck off Funnnnneeeee, you simple dickhead.
  2. Truss would be a foil for the worst excesses of the Tories and doesn’t have the wherewithal to know that she’s being manipulated to foist these abhorrent ideas upon the British. Sunak would be the one pulling the strings on my her if he wasn’t also running, he’s a true believer in the true blue libertarian bullshit that’s hellbent on removing centralised governmental control. Both bad for different reasons, but one of them actually understands why they’re doing it, doesn’t care a damn who suffered as long as there’s profit and would happily sell off the UK to the highest bidder whilst eroding workers rights down to the level of servitude, the other is Truss.
  3. They now sell pork in Dubai. You have to go to a sealed off area in the big supermarkets. All very odd.
  4. As long as the centre backs keep talking we’ll get through the aerial bombardment, Big Nat will let Virgil know where he needs to be.
  5. Johnson has stuck an 'Out of Office' sign on and will only be replying to emergency emails, genuinely. Fucksake.
  6. You got this the wrong way, Mal. Its a culture of cancelling, or at least attempting to, that has led to people losing jobs/income/standing. The culture aspect is what they are doing, not in the specific destruction of a thing, arts and opinions in the main. The culture is a group of fools, on both sides of the spectrum, assuming they have a right to allow something to no longer be as it goes against a pretty flimsy set of soft coded beliefs they’ve developed in their interwebs hive mind.
  7. Hasn’t it always been that though? Serious talent would rise to the top all the while being padded out by shite produced in the minds of privileged inadequates? Counter intuitively I think that opportunities have never been greater for people to get their ideas out, but the people at the top are less willing to take a chance with something which challenges cost conventions, leaving them bereft of legitimate ways of getting their work to a wider audience.
  8. It costs so much to put a show on that unless you know you have a hit it’s beyond the means of most. I have friends who used to go up with shows years back and it’d cost them next to nothing and as long as you sold a few tickets you’d eat and get pissed that night. Now it’s tens of thousands and destitution if it bombs.
  9. Maybe, but I’m not sure I ever remember seeing the idea that cancel culture doesn’t exist, more that it’s used by vile cunts at times to claim they’re being silenced when in fact their views are being challenged, views which usually fall apart under inspection anyway. I must have missed that particular spat.
  10. Becuse he’s had his, very popular, show cancelled because people, and it doesn’t even look like paying customers, objected to the content and artistic direction. Sadowitz doesn’t do TV or videos, so his income is dictated to by bums on seats and that opportunity has been removed leaving him financially worse off. He’s been silenced by whatever metric you use. Maybe he’ll reap the publicity, but his livelihood has been hampered as those who believe they are in ownership of the moral barometer didn’t like his ‘gags’.
  11. Im not sure who you’re arguing with here but I don’t think anyone doubts the insidious nature of the internet hive mind and how problematic it is for free speech, and that’s from both sides of the lunatic spectrum.
  12. So, the people who bought a ticket to Jerry Sadowitz thought they were getting a nice, light entertainment comedy hour? Fucking mugs. I imagine the joke(s) were horrific and I would have laughed my head off as I have done several times at his shows as I know full well what type of comedian Jerry Sadowitz is.
  13. The life of a City fan. Pick up cheap/discounted/free ticket. Turn up five minutes late. See first goal between 4th - 15th minute. Sit awkwardly wondering if you should get out of your seat on the 38th or 40th minute so you’re one of the first in line for a pint and free commemorative program. Miss second goal through being too deep in thought about the above and remain oblivious as the crowd kind of reacted to something. Decide on hanging back and having another pint at half time. Go back to seat in 50 minutes to be told you missed a goal and you’re unsure if they mean one before or after the half, is 2-0 or 3-0 now. Go in phone to check score so you don’t look like a goon for having to ask, miss fourth goal, continue scrolling. Look up on 60 minutes as there’s a substitution and you recognise the name of the player from that social media account you follow, notice that the announcement mentions scoring a hat trick, but who scored it? Checks phone, misses 5th goal. Starts thinking about when it’s fine to leave. Decides the 82nd minute seems fine considering the ticket costs fuck all. Leave and buy a full limited edition statue of a ‘City Legend’ Miss 6th goal. Friends in pub tell you final score. You say ‘unbelievable team, the atmosphere was amazing’ and continue into the ever increasing spiral of cognitive dissonance. Phone TalkSport to tell them City don’t get the respect they deserve..
  14. As ludicrous as it sound I genuinely believe they are both compromised. Neither really tries to hide it either, hidden in plain sight all along.
  15. He's almost certainly hawked them around to the highest bidder...
  16. They were searching for 'sensitive and classified materials relating to nuclear weapons'. Absolute fucking scenes.
  17. FUCK YES! We're officially in recession, baby! Gonna be a long, bleak fucking winter.
  18. Didn't even read it. Negged for being dull as shit.
  19. I've heard Drakeford steals milk off doorsteps in Pontypridd. Unofficial at this point, but I'll keep you posted
