  1. Anyway, we have rejected the 40 mill bid and holding out for close to 50 million.
  2. Sky reports that City have come back with 40 million now. No details. Just more to follow...
  3. Agree about the game intelligence part. I think Sterling's pace clouds his weaknesses. Ibe is physically better built than him and when he got into the team during the last 3-4 matches, he was beating people with trickery and not just pace. I have greater hopes for Ibe than I have for Sterling because I think Ibe has a greater ceiling.
  4. Rennes striker, Paul-Georges Ntep (22) has visited Melwood twice in the past week and is interested in a move to Liverpool. (L'Equipe). Ntep (22) is highly rated and very quick. Plays on the wing or as a striker. He has 9 goals & 5 assists in 26 starts in Ligue 1 this season.
  5. Should have tried harder for Borini
  6. From the beeb's match report: The hero of the night was Welbeck as he punished the club for whom he scored 29 goals in 142 appearances before switching to Arsenal after Van Gaal brought in Radamel Falcao. The Colombian was not even called from the bench amid United's increasing panic, which saw the great tactician Van Gaal end with the giant figures of Marouane Fellaini and Chris Smalling up front.
  7. Huh? So that we can get back at their display against Man City? That display showed their small time thinking... Dont want any thinking of that kind to be associated with our club.
  8. If my club had a manager acting like a proper tool like this guy, I would be really embarrassed.
  9. Echo says hes signing a new 5 year contract. Well done Ibe!
  10. https://pbs.twimg.com/tweet_video/B90-BmOIMAAul-9.mp4 The backheel!
  11. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10152716293483581 The reaction of the kid is priceless...
  12. It says "Record Deal" but no clue about the amount. http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest-news/179474-lfc-announce-record-new-balance-kit-deal The multi-year partnership has become the biggest kit supplier deal in the club's history, with New Balance - one of the world's major sportswear manufacturers - responsible for designing the Reds' strips and training apparel. Liverpool products will be sold in more than 500 New Balance retail stores around the globe and will support the manufacturer's growth and entry into the football market. Chief commercial officer Billy Hogan said: "We are thrilled to announce this partnership with one of the world's leading sportswear brands, which is a record-breaking deal for the club. "Like Liverpool FC, New Balance has more than 100 years of heritage and a global footprint. "Not only are they well known for their technical innovation across a range of sports but they also have a presence in many countries across the world, which will all feature LFC kit. "Over the course of the contract, New Balance will bring innovation and world-class product to Liverpool FC and its global fanbase."
  13. First club to have a winning manager who dint have to win to be a winner! First club to have a manager wearing brown shoes
  14. The best thing wud be for us to win while giving away a own goal towards the end of the game so that everton get relegated on goal difference. That would start a big froth fest.
  15. Bony will be gone in Jan to play the African cup of nations... We need a DM first and foremost.
  16. 0-0 at fulltime.. Both the keepers had a good game! The 2nd half was a lot better spectacle than the first half.
  17. 0-0 at halftime... We have shaded it in terms of possession. Not too many chances created but we had the best one very early in the game.
  18. Canos missed a good chance for us... Scum have been attacking more but we have looked good on the counter.
  19. Rooney given offside when miles onside. Wouldn't have happened on Slur's watch!
