Hard to say if it's the worst, but certainly for the first time in a long time we don't have any player to pin our hopes on the way we could with Fowler, McManaman, Gerrard, Owen, Suarez, Torres etc. Nobody of any substance in this squad. Sturridge has all the talent in the world but not the will or fitness to use it. He's useless. Coutinho is another magnificently talented player but so fucking inconsistent. The rest, in terms of ability and usefulness, range between complete crap (Bogdan) to above average (Henderson, Skrtel). No one we can rely on to drag us out of the shit.
