  1. 4 hours? I’d have to watch the first two hours of the film, leave, go back the following day, pay again and watch the rest of it.
  2. I recently discovered there are sequels. I’ve not seen any of them, though.
  3. The Jungle Book Robin Hood (1973) The Water Babies Bedknobs and Broomsticks Dr. Who and the Daleks (Peter Cushing, 1965) Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (Kirk Douglas, 1954) Oliver! Commando
  4. Robson Green - His North-East Weekend Escapes programme is one of the few daytime television programmes I’ve watched and enjoyed, in recent times. Phillip Mould - He’s a posh sod, but I think he’s great on Antiques Roadshow and Fake or Fortune. Joanna Lumley - I find her voice incredibly soothing. She could read the contents of a telephone directory and I’d listen. Micheal Palin - I’ve rewatched Around the World in 80 Days, etc. countless times. He just comes across as a thoroughly nice fella.
  5. I didn’t realise he was still playing. He must be in his eighties now.
  6. A maximum of 10? Fuck’s sake, I need at least 12!
  7. That’s shit, mate. Have you got something nice to eat and drink tonight?
  8. Happy birthday, mate. Hope you’re having an enjoyable day.
  9. 1. Barton Fink 2. No Country for Old Men 3. Fargo 4. Inside Llewyn Davis 5. A Serious Man 6. True Grit 7. O Brother, Where Art Thou? 8. The Man Who Wasn’t There 9. Blood Simple 10. The Hudsucker Proxy Yours?
  10. Custard Creams have seen me through good times and bad, you bastard.
  11. The Big Lebowski doesn’t make my top ten Coen Brothers films. Like you, I don’t dislike it, but I don’t find it particularly funny either. I like The Lady Killers. It isn’t a patch on the original but stand alone, it is a good film, in my opinion.
  12. Are you a fan of other Coen brothers films? If so, which ones?
  13. Jumper: Tracksuit: Sweatshirt and Jogging Bottoms (or Sweatpants, as Americans might call them): Trackie Jumper, Trackie Bottoms and Daps (if you are from Bristol):
  14. Sweatshirt. Sweater is the American word for jumper, isn’t it?
