    Not paid for though is it? £390M cost £290M financed, at £25M per year over 25 years, no early payments as that will incur massive penaltys. However you spin it they have bought nobody so far despite all the money they are swimming in, the bid for Suarez was lower than the club would except hence the 'what are they smoking' comment. I think the arse knew it had no chance of being excepted but it distracts their fans from the reality of no trophy in 9 years and selling Nasri, Song, Fabregas and Van Persie .

    So they want to run their investment down then, they want it to under perform? in what world does that make sense? are you suggesting that they are asset stripping? In different posts we have them being accused of contradictory things. If they just wanted to have an investment club there are million better options than a football club to put your money. Admittedly they are not prepared to complete with Abromobitch and mansour but then they don't have a country's natural resources to pilfer.

Henry is one of the worlds leading investment managers, unlike a lot of the criminal hedge funds out there (SAC, GS) Henry has not built his wealth on leveraged debt and bent regulators. He was one of the few who positioned his company for the financial meltdown that is still on-going (despite what the BBC and Osbourne claim) unlike Berlusconi who you suggest as an example of a good owner, he is not going to find himself bankrupt and languishing in a prison cell anytime soon. The unraveling of the financial markets is a very real thing and there will be blood on the streets before it hits a bottom, the fans will be glad we had a cool head running the club through this when 'experts' look back on it in a few years time. We will all be glad our beloved club did not fall into the hands of Kleptocrats trying to show the world how big their cocks are.

    if you are looking for a guided tour then i have used the guys at dark Rome (Rome Tours, Vatican Tours & Walking Tours | Dark Rome Tours & Walks) excellent guide and you get to jump the line. Not to expensive for the quality. They also do a some night tours as well which are good.

What these short sighted pricks don't realise is that the day trippers will eventually go away.     Bobby mate, you just don't get it do you. You don't keep your good players any more, that is so outdated. There is a new paradigm and it goes like this.Take your world class game changing genius and sell him, use the money to buy 2 or 3 less good players. Repeat each season and change your name to Arsenal. At least you will get to watch the group stages of the Champions league.

    No chance of that being abused then... we should be bringing in rule changes that speed the game up not slow it down and add to the already ridiculous time wasting. I would start with - the player nearest the ball takes throw-ins. They where never intended to be a teams only means of attack, just get the game going again. I would also have the 4th official take care of substitutions, the last 10 minutes of matches now are a joke if a team is leading. The ball goes dead ,a team signals it wants to make a change and then the game carry's on, the 4th official lets the sub on when the Subbed player gets his arse off the pitch. (i of course reserve the right to change my mind if it is Us making a change!?
